We need how many RB's?

We are still in the research of having better ST, maybe?

P/K return?

Yep...that's what I'm thinking.

I don't see us drafting Brown. A lot of draft sites have him as the 5th best RB in the draft and say he'll go 2nd or 3rd round. So if we really do want him it would have to be a pretty high pick.

I hate repeatedly throwing picks at RB and WR, but I don't see us resigning LenDiesel, CHen sux, Ganther is just depth, Little is an unknown, CJ will likely get injured again.

Drafting RBs are cheaper than getting old RBs in free agency. So if the right player is there, go get him. Our offense needs playmakers.

Why we wouldn't sign Lendale?

Honest question, PBV, since I haven't been as active as of late in the internet.

Here (http://mvn.com/totaltitans/2009/03/rb-andre-brown-future-draft-pick-of-the-tennessee-titans.html) is an article about the Titans possibly taking him. It somewhat compares him to Chris Henry, so he must be really good. :lol

He will want to get paid after this season, and the Titans have recently stated that CJ will have a larger role this season. Not only has LenDale underperformed in YPC, but also has had several costly fumbles. Couple that with his past work ethic, the fewer opportunities he will have this season to prove he is changed, and the short lifespan of even the best RB's (about 5-7 years), and I just don't see the Titans giving him a big payday. I'm super glad to hear LenDale is having a great offseason, but I believe the Titans have already begun the move in a different direction.

From what I've seen of him, he could handle LenDale's role in the very least. He could probably do a better job then LenDale IMO.

Plus, he's younger and in much better shape, so there's that.

Understood.

The thing is that both offer a very nice 1-2 punch in our running squad.
CJ can be doing the no-red zone plays, while LenDale is a good RB for the red zone.

And still...I cannot stop re-running that great scoring run that CJ had against Pittsburgh. That was a good one. LenDale is a ramming machine in the goal line range, though.
