Scientists have discovered a gene that helps a mother and daughter stay alert on about six hours sleep a night, two hours less than the rest of their family needs.

I had a teacher in junior-high that only slept about 5 hours per night, or so she claimed.

I was actually thinking about this the other day.

Wouldn't it be cool if we had a gene that allowed our brains and bodies to fully recuperate without any sleep at all?

Think of all the things we could do.

This should probably be in the Watering Hole.

My bad...

I usually get by on 5-6 hours a night... and unintentionally make up the rest during the day.

When I was younger I could stay up all night and it wouldn't really affect me.

Now, if I try that I'm like a zombie.

I've pulled about 8-10 all nighters this summer... usually can never make it past noon next day without crashing for an hour or two.
