I have to admit that I am very impressed with Tiger Woods right now. From what I have read, this is only the third time in his career he has led a major after the first day, and in the two previous times, he easily won.

I didn't think he would win a major this year, but he has been playing great golf lately. I would be very surprised to see him lose the PGA Championship after that first round.

Snedeker is playing this afternoon. His 3 over par score yesterday wasn't very good, but he should make the cut if he shoots par or better today. He has made the cut in his only other two PGA Championship appearances, though he has missed the cut in the other three majors this year.

Tiger looks like he will run away with the PGA Championship, sitting pretty at 7 under. He might win this by over 10 strokes if he keeps it up.

Snedeker did better than yesterday, but he had to shoot even, and he shot 2 over. :sad Going 0-4 in the majors isn't very good.

Looks like Tiger is human after all. Biggest meltdown of his career.

I jinxed Tiger! :ohmy

First, a big congrats to Yang. That shot on 18 was stunning. :thumbsup

Tiger, you just didn't do anything on Saturday, allowing others to catch up with you. Today was not a very good round either, but he still had his chances.

The streak is broken...

My god how many putts did he barely miss? Complete lack of execution. And fittingly, he 2-putted 18.

Well, as a golf fan and weekly golfer, it was nice to see somebody not fold like a lawn chair in Tiger's presence. Too many times the competition has layed down and rolled over. What a nice change to see Yang basically stare him down and take it away!

He still blew a couple of easy chances to keep or regain a two shot lead and make the last hole an afterthought. But he played for th win on 18, and it paid off.

He is the first Asian-born player to win a major.

The shot on 18 had the schmucks at CBS in complete shock. Watch their call of it again - it was like they suddenly realized their horse was actually gonna lose.

Great, stunning shot on 18. Simply fantastic to see someone paired with Tiger that you would expect to fold not only stare down Tiger, but outplay him all day, as well as provide the tournament's biggest moments.

Bodes well for all golf fans, because finally some pros will start to look from within and find what Yang found today. Tiger's the greatest golfer ever, but that doesn't mean others can't raise their game. Today we finally got that.

CBS Sportsline had a poll question, and asked whether this was the biggest upset in golf history. I said no, but just because I really don't classify golf as an upset-type sport.

If you are playing in a major, you are probably a pretty good golfer already. You stick 120 pretty good golfers in the field, and the odds are pretty good that at least one is going to compete for the title, along with a few of the elite golfers.

The elite golfers are going to earn the most money in a season and finish with more wins and top 10 finishes than the average pro. But it doesn't shock me at all to see some unknown win a major anymore. It happens frequent enough now.

I believe that's good for the sport.

Everything needs a little parity.

I just wish there was someone who could and would challenge Tiger more consistently.

Does the phrase, "body of work" mean anything ?
