Yeah, he's good.
Birdied the 72nd hole to win at Bay Hill after trailing by 5 to start the day. Yeah, O'Hair struggled at times and ended up +3 for the day, but Tiger makes yet another pressure putt on 18.
Not bad....

Not bad....That was incredible, just like last year! He never ceases to amaze me.

Did anyone actually think he was gonna miss that putt on 18?
LMAO - I may bet on Tiger 3-2 versus the field at the Masters....

I'd actually bet against it. I know how odds work, but betting on them is another story. Anyone who explains it to me gets rep.
If I'm not mistaken. Tiger, according to Vegas has a 60% chance of winning.
3-2 odds = 3/5 = 60%.
But how much do you need to bet to make a good profit?

Actually, according to Vegas those are the numbers that the they think the public will bet evenly. It doesn't have to do with what they think his chances for winning are.
Now onto odds to bet to make a profit. That really has to do with how often you bet. If you bet a lot you shouldn't be thinking about just one bet, but about all of your bets as a whole. With that said 2 / 1 odds are pretty much the lowest you ever want to bet. Lower than that just isn't a high enough risk reward.
Note: I am no expert or anything. Hell, I live on such a limited government income that I don't risk my money in gambling. What I do know comes from a number of friends I've had that have worked in sports books, but sports books lose a lot of money too (sure they win more in the end but it's because of how many bets they take).

I sure thought he was going to make it, and he delivered. Again.
Golf needed this after being Tiger-less for basically 9 months. If he wins the Masters in a couple weeks, watch out.

I am happy that Tiger is playing well. It is good for the whole sport.
I am also pleased that Nashville native Brendt Snedeker had his best outing of the year. He was in 6th place going into Sunday, but he shot 2 over to fall to a tie for 17th. Considering he had made only 2 cuts in his 7 tournament appearances this year, and never finished above the 40's, this finish was very encouraging.

I didn't realize until a couple of weeks ago that at the end of last season his contract was up with TaylorMade, I think that was the equipment he was using, and he switched to Bridgestone. He said has has not been comfortable with the new stuff, yet.

Tiger is achieving a status reserved for very few. All watch and are interested, many to see him succeed, and many to see him fail.
The Dallas Cowboys effect.

Undeniably the best player in modern golf. Nobody has dominated like Tiger has for this stretch. I just wonder though, is it good for Golf? From a selfish fan standpoint I am thrilled with him and all he does, but watching to see who comes in 2nd is the common theme at most majors. Now, if that happens or not is secondary. We EXPECT Tiger to win, when he doesn't that's actually news. Very odd situation. We will never see his like again. I think.

Sports that emphasize the play of one person instead of a team will constantly have "greats" like Tiger. It's just the nature of the sports.
I think Tiger is great for the sport because of how good he is and because it gives a lot of people a common enemy to root against.

Tiger Woods is the greatest ever at what he does. If he had decided to be a roofer then he would be the best roofer the world has ever seen.
