Seeking same page: Washington yelled as he jogged back to the huddle on Wednesday, having seen another Kerry Collins pass sail out of reach.
The long-ball timing can't be rushed, Washington said later, but added that he and the veteran quarterback are "very close" to figuring things out.
"It's kind of difficult, but at the same time, there are guys who have been playing together in this league for three, four years now and they're still not on the same page," Washington said. "Some guys throw the straight line and they get it down the field, but other guys, they throw the higher type of passes; they drop in."

In Pittsburgh, Washington’s home for the first four seasons of his career, receivers ran routes, never knowing if they were going to get the ball on a certain play. Sure, there was usually a primary receiver, but like Washington said, “He pretty much read the whole field. I think he did a good job of giving everybody an opportunity to go deep for him.”
Here, the Titans offense, under offensive coordinator Mike Heimindinger, is different. The quarterbacks have enough reads to know who is going to get the long ball before the ball is even snapped.

I just hope they ALL find a rhythm together and before the season starts. I know that's a lot to ask but the window won't stay open for long.
