Plaxico Burress' gun case adjourned

NEW YORK (AP) — "A gun possession case against New York Giants star Plaxico Burress was adjourned Tuesday until June, but his attorney said the matter could be resolved sooner if a plea agreement can be reached.'

This sucks for Burress since the case will have to result in jail time according to New York law. I feel he should get it over and done with. Mike Vick knew he was screwed so he took it like a man and did the time. He is just about done and after a few more months everyone will be over the whole deal. Burress has a similar issue minus P.E.T.A. on his back, but why prolong the crap. He should take the best deal available and in five-nine months be done with it and move on.
