This preseason game is coming up before we know it. Being on a Thursday night is tough for some people, but hopefully we can still make a good tailgate out of it.

I will be there. But I want to get an idea of how many are coming before commiting on what to bring.

X marks the entrance and the flame is where we park in the corner. If anyone is thinking about joining us and wants directions, just ask!

Not sure yet if I'm bringing anything besides shooters but will know by tomorrow for sure.

I gave two of mine away, my brother and I will not be there, but we will be there for the Texans game. My brother built a new corn hole game from scratch. He hand painted it, including the logos. We will be bringing it along with the other one and the football toss game to all the tailgates starting with the Texans. Here are a couple of pics.

It looks like I won't be at the tailgate. Due to some last minute scheduling, I am bringing my son to the game, and I don't think we will have time to swing by the tailgate.

But I will see you all in a couple of weeks.

I'll be there with Laura and 2 other friends. We have melon balls ready and I will bring some other ready-to-eat meat. (Unless?) Will there be a grill there? I could get some Burgers and Dogs to grill but don't have a grill. Someone let me know. Don't you just like last minute decisions!!!

I am thinking of showing up for a tailgate party. What would i need to bring? Also I am just gonig look around for a ticket once there. Even when living in DC i went ot about 4-6 games a year I just love football. And now I will at least be able to pull for my second fav. team. However I still wear Dallas gear to all NFL games no matter where I am at. I may break down and by a Titans ball cap. Looking forward to tonight.

Who can I leave a private message for with my cell number so someone can help direct me towards the tailgate area. I am a virgin for this tailgate. What is a good time to start showing up? Also were is the closest place I can park to walk over? Thanks again for all the help.

If you want to park in our lot it's $20. Just be sure to tell them you're with the TOMB tailgaters so they send you to the back. When you get to the bottom of the hill, look immediately to your left and we are literally in that southwest corner. We take up several spots and the best landmark I can give you right now is a Hummer.

Our lot is called Main Event Parking (4th and Main) and there's a sign at the entrance. I'm not sure how Metro will direct traffic on James Robertson Pkwy at that time of day? JR Pkwy becomes Main St under the interstate.

The only directions I can give you are from I-24:

From whichever direction you're coming, take exit 47a (Ellington Pkwy). Do NOT continue the loop onto Ellington, continue going forward to the intersection (Main St.) and get in the right lane after the Ellington loop. Turn right onto Main and get all the way over in the right lane ASAP. You may have to fight your way over, depending on traffic from the exit ramp. Don't blink because the lot entrance is right there.

Check out the map I posted and you should be good to go. By the way, it expands if you click on it :)

Also, the parking spaces are numbered. This group's parking spaces are in the 830-840-ish range, I believe. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong? I'm going from memory... My former space was 832, I think?)

Yes you are correct. My spot is 833 and it is very lonely without you.This was a preseason tailgait for sure but it was fun and as always it was great to see everyone. We are going to kicking ass by the Txeans game. Great Game TITANS.

One little tiny table and too bad I forgot to take pics. Don't know why but this was one of the more memorable tailgates. Great food, great people and it keeps getting better. We rock :cool:

Its been the preseason, I don't think anything counts...

I'm sure there will be pictures of the real deal...
