I don't know what kind of access Michael Vick has had to newspapers, magazines and the Internet in prison, but it seems like the news that he is no longer a hot commodity has not yet filtered down to Michael Vick.
In papers he submitted to a bankruptcy court, Vick indicated that he plans on making $10 million per season, which I'm pretty sure would be a record for an ex-con who had a career quarterback rating of 75.7 when he went away.

Raiders or Redskins.

I know Tennessee is the last team on his 'to-do' list, but Mike Vick very well may be a huge steal for some team. He wants 10 million a year, certainly understandable when he used to have a 140 million reasons to wake up everyday. As for being locked up, that will prevent him from getting his desire salary. I think he is still going to be a very fierce athlete who could after one season back get the money hes looking for. My bet is the Cowboys wont look at him with their recent troubles, neither will the Titans or Colts. No Patriots or Dolphins, no Ravens or Steelers, no Giants or Eagles and defiantly no Chargers or Seahawks, not even the Browns are in to it. I doubt even the Lions would be into Vick but perhaps a team like the Redskins or Raiders a team with no identity would bite. Even a team like the 49er's might give him a go. Houston in it, possibly. Jacksonville??? Maybe. All we know for sure there is no chance in hell he would be playing for us in Tennessee.

Mike Vick will be lucky if he makes five million the rest of his career if you can even call it a career.

He hasn't even been reinstated yet. Talk about jumping the gun!
In my opinion Vick is going to have to make some serious appeasements to satisfy people that he has changed. Prison time and an I'm sorry won't cut it for a lot of people. He's going to have to become a spokesperson/advocate for ending animal cruelty.. something like that.

I feel bad for the dogs but he has paid his debt to society. If people actually did research on PETA then they would know that they have done far worse things in this life than Michael Vick could ever imagine.

I'm not sure what you have in mind with that comment on PETA. I'm not a fan of theirs, but aside from being dunces and having a few scrapes with the law, I'm not sure they have acted as a group towards another living thing with the extremity that Vick did.
My point though had nothing to do with them specifically, but with what he would need to do to sway opinion about him. He's paid his legal debt, true, but that is not always enough for some people.

Has Vick ever had an elementary school math class? It is going to be tuff to make 10 million a year while only getting paid 10 dollars per hour (http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d80f91d5b&template=without-video&confirm=true).

Anyone else find the terms to be fairly bogus?
"Under his bankruptcy plan, Vick would keep the first $750,000 of his salary, and creditors would receive part of any additional earnings."
"That would allow Vick to serve the last two months of his sentence at his Hampton home in eastern Virginia, one of two houses he would be allowed to keep under his bankruptcy plan."

I know someone who is going through a bankruptcy and they even had to sell their house or lose it. Thank God they were able to sell it. And, they had done nothing illegal, just bad economy.

There is no possibility WHATSOEVER that the Texans would be interested in Vick. The franchise TRIES to have as many upstanding players as possible . Remember, the Texans drafted the milktoast David Carr (moronic move for an expansion franchise), to be it's poster child. We have a history of drafting players with character. See A. J., Super Mario, et al .

Instead of making outrageous demands for a salary, he should just be thankful any team is willing to give him a shot.
Sign for the minimum, prove yourself, then ask for a larger contract. No one wants to waste $10M on a QB who might not be able to play at the level they are hoping for.
