But it was hardly the only bad start in the team's short history:
2008: 0-4
2007: 2-0, 3-2
2006: 0-3
2005: 0-6
2004: 0-2, 2-3
2003: 1-2, 2-5
2002: 1-5
Kubiak has done a lot of thinking about how to get out of the gate better, and one of the resulting changes will be to the training camp schedule.
We're going to go strictly to one-a-days in camp.

Somehow I don't think two-a-days are the reason for the Texans' bad starts. :bsflag

Wow, he must really think they are going to be bad if he can only stand to watch them once a day.......

I think the two a days are a good thing. It is still pretty hot outside at the beggining of the seeason and the players need to be well adapted to the heat.

I find it interesting that players bust their butt in the hottest days of summer for what, to play in the snow come the playoffs? I have been apart of two a days. Not fun but necessary.

Poor starts have killed them. There is no question about that. After 0-4 they went 8-4 last season. 0-4 last season had a lot to do with have no home games during the first month of the season due to the Hurricane and who they played those first four games (Steelers, Titans, Jags, and Colts).

The Texans confuse me, kind of like the Cowpats. They have a ton of talent and have nothing to show for it.

There are a lot of teams like, historically the Oilers/Titans have that down to a science. However I don't know if I agree that the Texans have a ton of talent.

I don't see this really helping or hurting them. As long as a majority of the players come in in shape they should be fine.
