Some of you, like me, are big TMQ/Easterbrook fans. Here is a sad stat that he pointed out: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=easterbrook/090915&sportCat=nfl
Stats of the Week No. 6: Stretching back to last season, Tennessee has lost consecutive games by a 13-10 final score, and in those losses the Titans reached the opposition's 12-, 13-, 19-, 22-, 27-, 30-, 33- and 34-yard lines without scoring.

Hopefully, this kind of stuff will end this week.

Why do you torture yourself 309? lol
Just a guess here, I'd say the Baltimore and Pittsburgh defenses have ruined a lot of teams offensive stats over the past few seasons. Wouldn't you?

The problem is that almost all of these were preventable or were pure bad luck. But I still look at it as a two game abberation rather than what the Titans usually do.
The Titans were very good last year in the red zone, much better than in 2007. Hopefully we have the bad game out of the way and get back to scoring points in these situations.

Forget bad luck, that is an excuse in football.
If Crumpler doesn't fumble and we execute on two chip shots the stats are moot.

If Crumpler doesn't leap in the air, he doesn't fumble. Players have to learn that they are so exposed when they do that. Chris Brown did it against the Chargers in the playoffs. Sage did it against the Colts last year, costing the Texans the game.
Lendale doesn't fumble all year long, yet he fumbles in the playoffs. I do call that bad luck.

I am sure that is exactly how Lendale he explained it to his coaches and teamates. "Sorry guys, it was just bad luck" :lmao
As long as football is a sport players are going to leave their feet and expose themselves for an extra yard. It is a competitive part of the game. When you do leap for that little extra, you need to HOLD ONTO THE BALL.
Nice examples of fumblers... There are hundreds of examples of non-fumbles. Elway against Green Bay, Payton over the top.
Stats and numbers are for baseball, not football.

On LenDale's behalf i would say it's bad luck! I thought i read somewhere that LW never fumbled once in college. (Don't quote me on that, but i know he didn't fumble much). When i watch Lendale run in the past he had a habbit of running with the ball away from his body! But im still confused on Crumpler's fumble! I could had sworn he jumped too, but after watching the replay it didn't look like he could had done much more!
Look at the video 5:15 into it! I don't know if he jumped or not!

You guys can call a fumble bad luck if you so wish. Not me, I call it bad timing.

I'd just go back to kicking the dang fieldgoals like we used to. If Rob remembers how.
