I thought I'd stir the pot a little since everyone's blood pressure is up. If VY isn't our QB of the future....who is? Do you want to see us find one already in the league or through the draft. I like Derek Anderson if he can move a year early. His contract is through the '10 season.

Why would Vince not be our QB of the future?

That would be part 2 of the question I guess...Is he? If we turn this season around when would we find out...when we're taking a huge hit on the salary cap next year? I know his agent said he'd discuss a pay cut....better be a big one.

I say Vince is the QB in 2010. If he don't cut it it will be Terrelle Pryor. :lol

I have this hope that the powers that be will be looking for the next McNair who can naturally scramble, then be made into a world-class passer.

VY may still yet fit the bill. He has a cannon for an arm, even though his arm movement is a little atypical.

Let's win a game in 2009 first.

I think Vince Young is.

If VY isn't the guy we will go through a bunch of retreads until we suck bad enough to get a top 5 pick.

Derek Anderson only completed 50-something percent of his passes in preseason. He had one good year, and went right back to where he was before 2007. He can't get ahead of Brady Quinn, despite the Browns' failure to score an offensive TD since November 2008.

If I had the answer, I would let you know. At this point, I'm hoping Vince Young pans out when it's his turn again.

Elvis Grbac quit with a few years left in his arm, they could go for him. They could get him cheap.

It is week 2. Why are we talking about the QB for 2010? Unless you are referring to who is going to QB us in this seasons superbowl then I really could care less at this point. We are 0-2 and I for one have not given up on this season yet, but we have bigger issues right now than who will be our QB in 2010. I want to know who is going to return punts in game 3. I want to know if our secondary will recover from this game. I want to know if our pass rush is going to improve this season. We have plenty of downtime in the offseason to address questions for 2010. Lets talk about 2009.

8 ball says......Because it's America, Ringer and Moutan, eventually, proabably not in week 3.

I never said I gave up on this season...but you also don't look to the future with blinders on unless you are the Redskins. I guarantee scouts are trying to find someone and coaches are trying to decide if they already have them.

Denver and the Titans traded backups. We got Ramsey and they got Simms. (there was no actually trade, but it was the end result).

If Vince isn't the QB of the Titans future then we'd have to draft another QB and let him sit on the sidelines for a year or two to learn! Start completely over again! With K.Collins or someone similar!

VY will get a chance to start next season possibly this season if we have no chance of making the playoffs somewhere through this season. Hell the 49er's still haven't given up hope on their QB of the future, The Cardinals haven't given up on their's either! I still have faith! Untill the Titans cut VY...Is the day i give up on him.

The QB in 2010 is Vince Young or Kerry Collins. There is probably only a 1% chance of someone else.

Vince Young will likely start this year, just like Billy Volek started in 2004 for half the games. We will just have to see whether Vince earns the job or not for the future..
