The Football Gods are not happy with the Titans.

They have cursed us for the disrespect we showed towards the tradition of the Terrible Towel.

Since that game, the Titans have gone 0-5.

How much longer shall we suffer?

...or maybe we have just played like **** in the last five games. And lost because of bonehead turnovers and poor defense at times.

OK, I have two towels so no worries. But one of them has to burn if we're gonna rise from the ashes!

if pacman was a normal person we would have one of the best return men in the game....not to mention a top corner....instead we are left with returners that cost us games instead of winning us games....seems a fair assessment to me

We had a returner last year in his absense....... he isn't a need in this league as we can all see.

The football gods do punish teams. Just look what they did to the Pats for spygate. They get an undefeated season, but lose after a freak catch in the Super Bowl, and then they lose Brady and miss the playoffs despite having an 11-5 record.

The Titans were already on thin ice this season, and the towel curse just adds to it.

he was a blown 6th pick who isnt on the team what 4 or 5 years later...it seems to me that teams can be haunted by blowing these picks but whatever guess no one else agrees...clearly we are losing because we stomped on that towel

True. I just can't believe that the Titans are currently worse than the Bengals and Lions. And Jaguars. Oh my!

I am blaming the curse that that oil tower brings into the ecuation.

I only have memories of frustration and pain after following the Houston Oilers for 19 years. I will never belong to that group of "tradition". It's quite hard to follow a team for so long and not even look at them playing in a Super Bowl.

To rid the Titans of the curse, a priestess must meet with all the players and coaches in the middle of our field. The priestess will sacrifice a chicken or two and Fisher will drink the blood of the billy goat. I guess that the priestess will be Yvette.

Just wondering: Has anybody noticed that the Titans have not won a game since Dec. 21, 2008? That was the day a handful of players mistreated the Terrible Towel at LP Field as the Titans were closing out a victory over the Steelers.

At this rate, Keith Bulluck and the fellas need to offer a public apology to the city of Pittsburgh, ask forgiveness and — hopefully — rid themselves of the Curse of the Terrible Towel.

Otherwise, there’s no telling how far south this can go. Nobody is going to take pity on a team that compiled the best record in the NFL last season.

Trust me, we have noticed. What I want to know is why the media hasn't really mentioned the whole 2 playoff years and out cycle we go through.

A curse on a piece of fabric? :lmao

There are a lot of reasons why we're losing, a yellow towel is not one of them.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A couple of Titans players were so excited at the end of a game last year, they stomped on Pittsburgh's "Terrible Towel," and they haven't won since. People question if the stomp was a curse.

A school in Pennsylvania might hold the key to the curse and a Titans win this weekend.

Last December, as the Titans took on the Pittsburgh Steelers, Keith Bullock took one of the team's famous terrible towels.

"I saw a bunch of them waving around our stadium, so I said, ‘I need to get my hands on one of those,'" said Bullock on Dec. 21, 2008.

Teammate LenDale White actually got his feet on the towel, stomping it after the Titans crushed the Steelers at LP Field. Some believe it's the reason the Tennessee Titans haven't won a game since that cold winter day.

"We just received this package from Tennessee," said Amy Harvilla, Allegheny Valley School.

Friday, in Pittsburgh they received a peace offering of sorts.

"Please accept this towel on behalf of The Thom Abraham Show in Nashville, Tenn. LenDale and Keith wish you all the best. P.S. Please lift the curse," said Harvilla as she read what the players wrote.

The letter arrived with an infamous terrible towel that has the signatures of the Titans' two-some that did the stomping nearly a year ago.

"We had to put our egos aside for a second and do something for a good cause," said White.

White and Bullock sent the towel to the Allegheny Valley School in Pittsburgh, so it could be auctioned off.

"I know we ticked off a lot of people up in the steel city, but they are a great franchise and the towel is for a great cause. When you strip the game away from it, it's all about the cause that it's behind," said Bullock.

Not everyone's sold on the legend of the curse that comes with the terrible towel.

"We'll know after this game. If after this game, you know things. I might have to call down there and something, have a sit down with the City of Pittsburgh, tell them to do something for me, they got to lift it," said White.

Thanks to the Titans' signature on the terrible towel, the school forgave the players.

"We do lift the curse. Hopefully that will help. Good luck to the Titans," said Harvilla.

The people at the Alleghey Valley School hold the trademark to the Terrible Towel and apparently have the power to lift the so-called curse.

They will auction off the towel to raise money for the center that works with people who have developmental disabilities.

Bullock said he and White plan to send an extra donation to the school in Pittsburgh, but it'll be money and not another towel.
