I like the look, but i was unsuccessful looking up stats and records from previous seasons. Maybe I am just familiar with the old site. I guess a little bitter too for getting rid of the TOMB!

As a site. I like it. I went to the old titansonline for some nine years and now there's there no place for me there. Kind of like the house that I grew up in. The new owners changed the locks, modified the outside the outside of our place and changed the landscaping,

Not a fan. I've hated the revamped video-heavy re-dos of many sports sites, like espn, nba and nhl.com. I find they all take much longer to load and are all too concentrated on their expectation that all I want is video.

I find myself gravitating more to cnnsi and yahoo sports. I still like reading.

In addition to 'Liking' Toronto's post, I will say that I agree and will add that not only do I not like the videos, I hate the useless Java and Flash sports sites use. It's just not necessary for what they want to do, especially when it's as badly written as it is for the ESPN and NFL sites...not to mention some athletes. (Vince Young, your website stinks!)

TexansTalk.com (the server "roommate" of this board) was created as an alternative to the official board by the fans. If the Texans official board goes away (actually Texans Talk is more popular now than the official board) it will only increase membership for Texans Talk. That in turn should create more support keeping us both online.

The bottom line is as long as the fans want the boards neither board is going anywhere.

Glad you found your way! You'll find we're a little different than the TOMB. We're not going to moderate here - we had enough of that to last ten lifetimes! - and it's up to everyone to moderate themselves.

Us tailgaters needed a place to stay in touch, organize and the other boards probably wouldn't be accommodating. So the idea of a virtual tailgate was born.

Jags fans always came to our tailgates, Steeler fans, other teams fans, without any wanting to beat the shiznit out of each other. No reason we can't do it here.

Anyone that wants to hang out here... we'd love to have you at our real tailgate too :)

I always found it funny that people blast other people without checking grammar and punctuation first. I am glad that he did not equate ugliness with baldness.

yes, there are people other there tossed from the tomb but you also have people like

and now mostly post over there.

really considering the version of the tomb message board went back to 2004 (since everything from the previous ones was lost) i had been a member longer at tc and gt longer then the tomb.

the tomb was home but i did visit a lot at the other places.

Nope, they are still groovin' along best I know. Titans Central, GoTitans, and NFL Fury all graciously rolled out the red carpet for us TOMB refugees. Fans helping fans. Actually, I wouldn't say that Titans Central exactly rolled out the red carpet, but maybe that was just my experience.

It all depends on budgets. If the NFL eventually includes message boards in the cost, I imagine the Titans will start one up again.

Download them to your computer, get an account with photobucket or flickr or some other hosting site. Upload to your account and they will give you a hosted URL to post the smilie or pic. If you have any problems, just let me know.
