mta has a downtown circulator bus that operates on west side of river.

a lot of the stuff is the same.
same tailgating spot.
there are some new hotels and restaurants.
there are of course some changes due to the flooding.
opryland hotel will open later in the season.
though i am going to check to see if the general jackson will be doing anything game day.
the days inn stadium only had minor flood damage and opened again soon after.


TAILGATING

The tailgating spot:
is the same as the 2009/ 2007/2008 seasons.
On the same side of the river as the stadium with lots of parking.

Getting around downtown and other parts Nashville

The Music City Circuit, a free, new downtown circulator,
Blue Circuit – north/south to the Bicentennial Mall (Riverfront Station Bay 2)
Green Circuit – east/west to the Gulch,

some of the routes have better service then they used to.
for instance the west end ave bus http://www.nashvillemta.org/maps/route3.pdf
now has saturday night service until 10:15.
But then they fail at providing transporation to all the hotels along Elm Hill Pike

If you are staying in the west end area and want to travel downtown the taxi fair isnt too bad.
get out along the briley parkway area going to downtown they go up because it is bit of a distance.
some people rent cars when coming to town to give them more freedom about traveling around.

.while technically the games are sold out sometimes ticketmaster will have tickets returned and our some
tickets become available closer to game time such as the limited sight tickets (which usually means there is fence that really
doesn't obstruct the view that much)
what to do if you cant get any..ticket brokers..

since scalping is legal in Tennessee you can come to stadium and
out wait the
scalpers for good deals..
and often fans who have family conflicts ect.
. are trying to get rid of some of their tickets.
Though there have been reports of some counterfeit tickets
