I saw some stuff last night that I just haven't seen or almost never see in a football game. Here is my list.

1. Two block in the back calls on non-kicking plays. I just can't remember the last time I have seen one, much less two.

2. Kerry Collins run to the sideline and then throwing the ball away on a 2 yard pass. I thought he could at least get to the line of scrimmage on his run, but he just went to the sideline and pretty much threw the ball on the ground. That was just weird.

3. The locked helmets. I wasn't even sure what happened until this morning. It just looked strange to see to see two grown men on the ground in that position, not moving, but no one else around to help them for a minute.

4. The 3 inflatable T-Racs dancing in the pregame show. I like T-Rac, but not the inflatables. Freaky.

He maybe could have reached the line of scrimmage. I doubt he would have made it for anymore than that and chances are would have been stopped for a loss of a yard or 2. Plus KC is at an age, he probably isn't going to take too many shots if he can help it. Those old bones don't recover as quickly as they used to. Having said that, I thought it was pretty heads up for him to toss it out of bounds to avoid taking the loss.

BTW- this is just a comment on that play with KC in the game so before everyone starts... yes VY probably would have turned that into a positive run.:D

I think you're right about the block in the back calls on non-kicking plays. That was weird. I remember one of them being little more than a little push with one hand but it was enough to catch the officials eye.

Unusual is to come from a 13-3 season to only have a sorry 0-5 season and counting.

I am watching the game on my DVR, the opening play where Stevens gets knocked out by Griff. Griffin is shoved from behind by #81 on the dolts, the guy actually shoves Griff's head from behind into Stevens head. Not a word was said about THAT by the fine announcers, and there was no FLAG on that either. I suppose the league will fine Griffin for head banging his teammate.......

It was the only guy Griff hit all night.
