I figured we could use a thread about draft rumors.

Apparently NC State RB is set to visit with us. He said he's hearing that he will be drafted in the 2nd or 3rd round (so I'm guessing 4th). I don't know much about him, but his 40 times are extremely fast. I'm not sure why we'd even visit with him since he doesn't seem to compliment CJ's abilities.

Plus, we still have Rafael Little. We seem to do a lot of smokescreening before the draft though. (Is smokescreening a word, lol?)

Are there any rumors about the Titans drafting a QB? Right now we're just one injury to KC away from disaster.
Now the Titans can always draft Joe Ganz, Nebraska's record setting QB, next month.... hint hint

Seems like we always draft RB's but I keep forgetting Reese is gone. Does make you wonder about Little though.

I'm scared of all QB's right now!

Chase Daniel will either go in a late late round or become a UFA. If he winds up in the Titans camp he should make at least practice squad or even the roster, but that doesn't mean that he will.

I cant imagine them drafting any QB's that will need developing. Also unlikely we see a new safety or offensive Tackles. My guess with the 30th pick is we go best CB or best WR (if Holt doesn't show up)

i am thinkin theres no way in hell that the titans pick a wr in the 1st unless somehow crabtree falls to us which is highly doubtful.
i think it will be corner or dt in the first and see what happens in the second for a wr and if it doesnt turn out that who is left is not worthy of that pick we probably wont get a wr until one of those compensatory picks in the later rounds.:mad:

i saw that about andre brown,
i am starting to wonder if perhaps teams are seeing rb's as safe first round picks.
you get almost immediate return on them unlike a qb or especially a wr.
often their best years are in the early years of their career. the years they tied to the team that drafted them.

but one does wonder if this is a smoke screen or what.

If we keep Chris Henry we should probably draft a few more line men for when Henry injures them running into their backsides.

Nebraska? Quarterback? Are you allowed to use those two words in the same sentence? :D

Just kidding of course. I'd love for the Titans to pick that kid up if he's available on day two.

By the way, what is a record setting QB at Nebraska? One who throws six passes a year? ;)

USC could very well have 3 linebackers going in the first round.
