It looked to me that he was trying to make the big hit. Problem is it was to early and in the wrong place. :doh

The fool should have know the rules and deserves what he gets.

I'm fine with the punishment he got. I don't think he went out there trying to hurt anyone. I think he just got caught up in the emotions of the game and he went to make a big hit.

The talking heads that are saying he deserves to be suspended for the season are doing their usual jobs of trying to make a story bigger than it actually is.

That's the first time I've seen the hit. Man that was dirty! Even if he was trying to make a big hit, that's not the way to make it. That looks very intentional to me. I'd like to see him not play football for a very long time... That was disturbing.
