say what you will , but over the years of watching this great sport, you learn to be objective! first and formost, let me say, my heart is, and always will be with this team, with its fans, and with its players! ALWAYS! when i get buried, i want to be buried with a titans jersey, that is how much i love this team! through the good, bad, and very ugly, and through right now! i would like to think alot of us are objective in the sense that while are hearts are with this team, we do have other teams that we enjoy watching, and other players that we have that are favorates that don't wear our colors! well, mine in that case is ray lewis! say what you will, but to me the past is the past! the difference between lewis and most others that have walked a similar path is that ray has turned his life around , completely, for that, i have a great respect for him!

Ray Lewis is one of the best linebackers in NFL history. HOWEVER, his conspiracy charge was a joke, imo. He walked away from accessory to murder BEFORE the fact. Okay, maybe accessory to manslaughter AFTER the fact and obstruction of justice. I never thought I'd type this, but is there a criminal attorney in the house ? I'd like your thoughts.

I've only started to half way like him after hearing him at McNairs funeral. It took my thoughts of him out of the football perspective and into the human perspective.

and you know 315, ray has helped me to do that through time, because honestly, after the obstruction of justice stuff, i hated his guts for a long time!! but when i started keep up not only with his play but how he has used that situation to turn his life around, you can't help but like someone that does that. he hung around the wrong people , thought he was invinciable because he was a star, got caught up in the wrong thing, and he could have easily chose to stay along that same path( hince pacman) , but he chose to give his life to god, and turn his life around, and it takes a real person to do that, and it shows with him, it really does! i have never seen someone so passionate about his play on the feild and his faith and helping people off it as him! its not about how many times you fall, its about how you get back up!! remember that!

I'm sorry, but to me, Ray Lewis will always be OJ simpson and Ted Kennedy and any number of the rich and powerful that use fame and money to get our of serious crimes that the poor would have no chance of getting away with.
