We're in the Main Event parking lot at 4th and Main and all are welcome to join us, including rival fans
Directions: I-24 to exit 47a (Spring St/Ellington Pkwy). Do not continue the Ellington Pkwy loop; continue forward to the Main St. intersection and turn right. Fight your way over to the far right lane and you'll see the entrance. Tell the attendants you're with the TOMB tailgaters in the back lot. We occupy the entire bottom left or SW corner. Parking is $20 and it's a secure lot.
Fellow tailgaters, Bob and I are doing a shrimp boil this week and let me know if you want to be a part of it, bring an ingredient/supplies. It goes a lot faster if we have more than one pot boiling, too.
Anyone going to bring burgers, dogs, sausages, etc for landlubbers? Grills and sides?
Lets get a head count :thumbsup

Hey Yvette! Myself and two other Jaguar fans will be there all the way from Jacksonville! What time do you guys usually get out there to tailgate? Does the lot open at a certain time? What's the best way to get there from the Sheraton Downtown Nashville? If we bring some hamburgers/hotdogs will anyone be willing to allow us to use their grill :D?

Ronaldo, we'll be there by noon and a few others will probably be there earlier. I think the lot opens four hours before kickoff but someone else will have to chime in to confirm.
If you leave your hotel early enough (before they shut down the bridges), you could probably take the street in front of your hotel (Union) all the way over. It will merge into the Woodland St. bridge, then after you cross the river go to 5th St and take a left, followed by another left to the Main Event lot.
Or, go one block north from your hotel to Charlotte, stay on it until it meets 3rd, then zig to the left and zag to the right to James Robertson Pkwy. Go over the river and under the overpass, entrance on your left.
Someone(s) will bring a grill so you're good to go :thumbsup

315, I've secured a 60qt pot so I won't need your set up. I want to do it all in one batch instead of 2-3. Unless I hear from people, I'm going to plan on enough for 25 or so (including our jag fans).
Besides the shrimp, we'll need mini corncobs, baby taters, beef kielbasa, celery and carrots. Pick one or two and hopefully a few others will too. Trying to $pread the co$t around ;)

The Kelibasa is known in Mexico by Longaniza. And it's very tasty with red hot sauce. (15 Tomatillos,6 Pasilla Pepper, Onion, Coranter, garlic, salt and pepper).
Fry the Kelibasa and chop it, boil the tomatillos and pasilla. When the tomatillos get a pale green color while being boiled, they are ready. Blend all the sauce ingredients.
With a low flame in a medium/big pot, add the kelibasa and add the hot sauce over it. Let it boil for 5 mins. Serve over soft tortillas.
Now I feel hungry! :sad

Ronaldo, take the Charlotte route that is mentioned above as Union (in front of your hotel) is only a 2-way street for a short block towards LP Field and turn into a one-way in the opposite direction for several blocks.

One guy in a Romo jersey (didn't quite get why he wore it, but he did) kept running up and down the steps pointing at his jersey in a taunting manner. After been warned by the cops, he ended up doing it again later on, which is why he got thrown out (I assume). I didn't see them take a whole row out, so I can't help you there.
Another AWESOME Tailgate in the books. This was some of the best grub yet. It was great !!!

That was one for the books for sure. The tailgate was GREAT and the game wasn't too bad either. Looks like I didn't miss much. I left when the score was 30-13, made it home right when Vince took the last kneel down.
Watched the game on the DVR, there was a TG person sighted on TV before the half, he was also on the Jumbo-tron, huh is that what their still called? Or is it Video Screens?
I think I froze my face on the way home, colder then a witches ... on the bike. See y'all in a month or so.

Just a few thoughts:
When I asked Kevin to make red beans and rice, I said enough for about 10 people because of all the other food. Holy cow, once people knew it was there, it was gone! That guy just has a flair for Creole and Cajun cuisine
I'm getting a chuckle out of the folks who tailgate across from us. After they realized we had a TV for the Clots game, they were sniffing around yesterday. I've noticed them slurking their way over for the toast and group picture, too. I wouldn't be surprised if they ask to join us at some point in time, or it just kind of happens.
We kick ass :thumbsup
