I couldn't understand why the Browns went with Mangini after that collapse last year with the Jets, not to mention his previous years of suckage. Did the GM hire Mangini? Whoever did should probably be fired.

He was hired after Mangini.

IDK I think Mangini might survive for another season or two. He can use the rebuilding excuse for at least a lil while.

This is like firing Mayor McCheese because someone got a bad Big Mac. Strictly ceremonial... won't make a lick of difference.

LOL.... this version of the Browns has 2 winning seasons. Mangini has 1 winning season as a head coach.
Not exactly a recipe for success.

That should inspire the team to win. Maybe they should fire an ticket agent next and really put the scare in the team.

Not saying he should but the firing of the GM just screams scapegoat. they shouldn't have hired him in the first place.

That franchise has been a disaster ever since they came back into the league is all I am saying.

Yep but fortunately for Mangini he can say he doesn't have a QB of his choice (they both sorta suck) and they traded their best WR because he was sorta a problem child. I think he'll at least get a chance to stock some of his players before he gets the axe.

Browns make their first post-George-Kokinis personnel move, waiving kicker Billy Cundiff.
