Titans right tackle David Stewart suffered a hamstring injury during Thursday's practice but Coach Jeff Fisher said it didn't appear to be serious.

"We are going to evaluate it," Fisher said.

Defensive end Jevon Kearse (sore knee), running back Javon Ringer (back), and offensive lineman Mike Otto (knee) did not practice.

Linebacker David Thornton (hip) and nickelback Vincent Fuller (groin) were limited.

Maybe that is why he lost his job. It is something new every week.

Stewart's abcense always hurts our OL. And I hope it doesn't get long before Fuller is back on that field.

I agree Titanico. I remain hopeful that Fuller and Thornton will play as well as Stewart. It doesn't look good though. :sad

Here's a little more info on Stewart

Rookie Ready If Stewart Can't Play

By Jonathan Hutton November 6, 2009

Titans rookie offensive tackle Troy Kropog has been placed on standby if veteran right tackle David Stewart cannot play in Sunday's matchup with the San Francisco 49ers.

Stewart pulled a hamstring during Thursday's practice and was held out of Friday's on-field work. Kropog, the team's 4th round selection in April's draft, would most likely get the start opposite 2008 Pro Bowler Michael Roos is Stewart is listed as inactive.

Mike Otto, the normal offensive line backup, has missed practice this week with a knee problem and is also listed as questionable. That has left the coaching staff with either Kropog or Center/Guard Leroy Harris as possible replacements.

''I've been working hard since I've gotten here and have learned a lot,'' Kropog said. ''Hopefully Stewart makes it back, but if he doesn't I'll be sitting there waiting to see if they need me.''

Titans head coach Jeff Fisher was optimistic regarding Stewart's game day status and said the training staff would evaluate him on the field at Candlestick Park. The only area of concern is the potential of making the injury worse.

''Right now we're expecting him to play,'' Fisher said. ''If he can't play we've got a number of guys who could go out there and play.''

Others listed as questionable are linebacker David Thornton, safety Vincent Fuller, defensive end Jevon Kearse and cornerback Nick Harper. Fisher said running back Jevon Ringer would not make the trip.
