Tyrone Hartsfield has been found guilty of attempted first degree murder in the shooting of former Jaguars offensive lineman Richard Collier.
The six-person jury determined after a short deliberation that prosecutors had sufficiently proved that Hartsfield shot Collier 14 times.
Collier had beaten out Khalif Barnes for the starting left tackle position entering the 2008 season. The shooting paralyzed Collier from the waist down. Eventually, one of his legs was amputated.
