As the Titans prepare to play the Bills on Sunday at LP Field, the Music City Miracle will be recalled by fans in Nashville, Buffalo and other locales. NFL Network will show a replay of the game Saturday.

-------------------------------------------

This is a really in-depth article with stuff that I didn't even know about. Also, look for the replay on NFL Network at 8 AM Central tomorrow morning. (The game afterwards isn't half-bad either. ;))

this game will have lost of meaning when we run for 8,000 yards on them.

Some good quotes:

"But when Lorenzo picks up the ball I'm thinking 'why the (heck) does Lorenzo have the ball? We've never practiced it that way.' I thought it was doomed.''

"I didn't even know who I was throwing it to when I turned around and threw it,'' Wycheck said. "I just did it all in one motion. I was expecting Ike (Byrd). Seeing Dyson run down the field, I was like, 'Oh, wow.' ''

The Titans/Oilers have had a fair share of strange games with Buffalo over the years.

Here's another pretty good one from the Nashville Scene:http://www.nashvillescene.com/2009-11-12/news/vantage-points-on-a-miracle/

It does bring back some memories. :)

Just a reminder that the game is on NFL Network now.

I didn't know this:

For the record, Wiley said the Bills would have beaten the Titans in that playoff game had Flutie started, because the Titans wouldn't have been close enough to win with a miracle play.

Flutie guided the Bills to the playoffs only to see Johnson get the nod for the postseason after playing well in the meaningless regular-season finale.

Yawn.... Ego, 8-0 at home before that game. sucka! Flutie wasn't exactly what you call great that year, nor where the Bills smoking anyone.

I remember Flutie playing some pretty good air guitar during warm-ups. :D

Even after reading the article and hearing a tongue-in-cheek complaint from Byrd about not getting the ball, I'd like the moron to answer for us why on the kickoff he was (1) out of position and (2) ran into a Bills bullet man and fell down for no apparent reason (he didn't get blocked out).

Byrd has no one to blame but himself if he wasn't the man, because he was lost on that play. Watch the video.

Not that I'm upset about it, though.

I enjoyed watching this again. Thanks.

Truly one of the greatest plays in NFL history.
