Bills' Lynch will be suspended three games

The Buffalo Bills will be without starting running back Marshawn Lynch for the first three games of the upcoming regular-season.

According to a league source, Lynch will receive a three-game suspension from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell as a result of his arrest in California in February on gun-possession charges. The official announcement could come today.

Lynch pleaded guilty on March 5 to a misdemeanor charge of having a firearm in a vehicle in Los Angeles County Superior Court. He was sentenced to 80 hours of community service and three years of probation. Lynch met with Goodell to discuss his conduct on March 17.

I'll have to remember that. I actually had him last year on one of my teams, and he had his moments.

He was pretty solid last year but they gave the ball to that Jackson kid too much. I took Joseph Addai in the first round so I was DOA.

Will he be able to play in preseason games though?

I think he can fully participate in training camp, but is not allowed on team facilities for the duration of the suspension.

It's okay. The Bills can just throw it 40 times a game the first three games to their new prima dona. That should boil over well and keep him happy.
