Lions win by 1. WTG Detroit!
Apparently they threw a hail mary as the clock expired. A pass interference call gave them an untimed down, where they scored the winning TD.
I thought this game would be pretty exciting. These two teams are about as even as you can get.

Amazing how the NFL can have big momentum shifts as a season goes on. The Titans start 0-6, but have now won 3 straight and could make it 4. The Jets started 3-0, and have only beaten Oakland since then. The Broncos started 6-0, and have lost 3 straight. It could be 4 as they have not looked good so far against the Chargers.

If the Broncos lose this game, that Kool-Aid will be very bitter. If they fall apart again at the end of a season Shanahan will look a little better. Though I think they will get over this malaise and finish with a winning record. Whether it's good enough for the playoffs....

who do we root for in the broncos chargers game?
If the Chargers were to lose to the Broncos and to the Titans, then they would need just one more loss for the Titans to tie them, and the Titans would have the tiebreaker (assuming there are only 2 teams).
If the Broncos lose, they would need to lose 3 more games, since they have a AFC record tiebreaker over the Titans.
It is easier to make the playoffs if the Chargers lose, but the Broncos may be on the verge of collapse.

let me tell u how awesome it was to watch all the rats fans faces as stover kicked the go ahead (and eventually game winning) field goal...
this nfl season is so crazy, we go 0-6 and all the teams we need to loose to somehow even maybe think we have more then a 0% chance of making the final wildcard are loosing....
just wow

Watching the Ravens in preseason, I was shocked to not see Stover on the sideline. Hauschka was missing kicks in the preseason, and I thought for sure that Stover would be back. Harbaugh blew this call.

It was a nice thing to do but it did go on a bit long
This is what Mike Silver said....
Though the struggling Eagles had lost consecutive games to fall to 5-4, it wasn’t hard to predict that Donovan McNabb(notes) would respond with a strong performance in his hometown of Chicago. Facing a desperate Bears team, McNabb completed 23 of 32 passes for 244 yards and a pair of touchdowns and led a game-winning drive in the fourth quarter as Philly scored a 24-20 victory. But the coolest thing McNabb did was embrace his struggling Bears counterpart, Jay Cutler, on the field at game’s end and give him an extended pep talk before heading to the locker room. And if you think McNabb was merely grandstanding for the cameras, you’d be dead wrong, because Cutler (who threw a late interception to increase his league-high total to 18 and extinguish the Bears’ hopes) completely appreciated the gesture. “He’s a great dude,” Cutler wrote later via text. “He has handled himself well through all the b.s.” McNabb routinely gets ripped by random critics, but there’s a reason he’s one of the NFL’s most popular players among his peers: He genuinely respects and cares for his fellow competitors.
