Dennis Dixon will start against the Ravens Sunday, according to various media reports.

Ben Roethlisberger (concusion) is out. The Steelers will be forced to change their game plan to adjust to Dixon, who has thrown one pass in his NFL career. Downgrade Santonio Holmes and Mike Wallace as the Steelers will be forced to go run heavy with a short passing game. Newly signed Tyler Palko will be the backup.

is Batch still on the team? He was pretty good and deserved better than the Dandelions.

batch was injured last week putting him out for the season i believe. he injured his wrist. the ravens will tear apart dixon if they get the chance.

that sucks. Batch was always a good QB, but has injury prone the last few years.

good QB in college at Pitt...was part of the mess that caused Anthony Morelli to switch committments from Pitt to PSU, which in turn made Chad Henne switch from going to PSU to Michigan...we all know who got the best in that deal :D

Dixon wasn't bad at Oregon, would have won the Heisman last year if he didn't get hurt...He can beat you with his legs, not sure about his arm though.

I think it also forced Flacco to go to Delaware because of this.
