Oops forgot to post this yesterday!

We're in the Main Event parking lot at 4th and Main and all are welcome to join us, including rival fans.

Directions: I-24 to exit 47a (Spring St/Ellington Pkwy). Do not continue the Ellington Pkwy loop; continue forward to the Main St. intersection and turn right. Fight your way over to the far right lane and you'll see the entrance. Tell the attendants you're with the TOMB tailgaters in the back lot. We occupy the entire bottom left or SW corner. Parking is $20 and it's a secure lot.

I'll be there, bringing the usual burgers. I'm sure TTP77 will have one! :lol

Might bring Guinness, depending upon whether or not anyone else will be drinking any. 315, I can count on you, right? :lmao

It will be me and The Neph. I'm bringing that big bottle of Crown and I'm thinking of breaking out the Wassail. Considering how cold it will be....

I hope you guys have a lot of fun. I will really miss being there this week, but my wife and I should be there for the Christmas game.

Speaking of cold, it has been snowing the whole time I have been here at Pigeon Forge today. It is still a bit too warm for any serious accumulation, but it sure has been pretty to watch.

I'm not sure if I'll make it...it's the last game for us this year and my wife has been such a good sport, dropping me off at our tailgates then heading over to the stadium by herself...(we have parking in Lot R as she can't walk from our tailgate to the game)...so I was thinking of her and I doing something special together this game...

Hope you guys have another GREAT Tailgate and we'll see you next year ! ! !

GO TITANS ... FINISH the PHINS ! ! !

Looks like I will be there tomorrow with my wife. Not sure yet what we're bringing and we might not be able to make it until 10 or 10:30. Still in time for the toast right?:D

I do have a question. My buddy David, a lot of you met him at the last tailgate, would like to come and bring his wife. With it being Christmas, and money being tight for everyone, I'm sure they can't afford face value for tickets. Does anyone have any extras? If not, is it realistic to expect to get tickets from a scalper in the $20 or less range?

If not, he said they may just come to hang at the tailgate for a bit. Any info would be greatly appreciated. :toast

was trying to be a good samaritan and help out a dude and his pregnant wife who got stuck on my street with thier minivan (a FWD minivan in 2 feet snow...smart right? lol anyway). so nancy, this dude, and i are pushing his van to try and get it at least close to the curb so it will be out of the middle of the street and what happens? my right leg slips on some icy snow and slids down one of those street drains...all the way up to like my hip... so basically my outside part of my right leg (from my ankle) scraped all the way down (or up depending) on rock hard concrete compounded with ice...

so im gonna have some huge bruises tommorrow, to go along with this really big welt right below my knee :( :cry

Surely someone will get this message before we leave in the morning.

I got surprised with tickets on Friday for this one. I'm also coming Friday. So we're heading to early service at church and then heading that way. Should be in town about 10-10:30.

My wife is passing this one up, my seven year old daughter will be with me. I have never been to the tailgate; is it appropriate to bring her? And for the record, any that know my profession can probably put two and two together and figure out I don't drink (and it's also the reason I have never been to a Sunday game, too).

If it's cool, she'll be with me. Otherwise we'll park downtown and walk the bridge. Gimme a heads up, no worries either way. If it's not for her, then no big deal - not offended at all.

Hope to see you tomorrow.

It's pretty kid safe. A pretty calm bunch that would tend to mind their manners in earshot of a child. But people do drink and an occasional swear word is used. There are more than a few of us that don't drink, myself included.

I would take my grandkids along if the chance arose. :thumbsup Come on by. And be sure to introduce yourself around.

Kfmac70- last week was my first tailgate. I have made a lot of friends on the board but have to say I was a little nervous about meeting everyone for the first time. All I have to say is, I don't think I have been around a more friendly, welcoming group of people. Some drink and some don't and I saw no one acting in an inapropriate manner. I would feel comfortable bringing my 4 yr old niece because these are good people. Also, be proactive introducing yourself. I noticed that there are almost as many non-board people as there are board members, but once someone knows you by your user name, they will introduce you to everybody.

Speaking of my neice (proud unkie Shane here), if anyone wants to see pictures of her onstage with Rascal Flatts, just let me know. I've got those and more on my phone

Good to meet a few folks today. We got in kind of late because of church services first, but we enjoyed it. Madison was all wrapped up but she had fun and loved the hot dog (burger was awesome, too).

And thanks for the root beer, cause I keep it on the "unleaded." ;)

It was great seeing you guys again. I'm glad I finally got to meet you Pop. Hall45, 315 and everyone else named Dave... great to see you guys. I had to leave early due to a family emergency, but I'm thankful for the 10 minutes or so I did get to spend with you guys. At least I got to be there for the Toast! Thanks Yvette, and sorry, but I think I did 4 shooters during that toast. But at the time, they were much needed and much appreciated.

FYI- Everything is ok. My wife has a knee injury and was in tremendous pain today. She was scared and it was best that I be with her. My friend David, left with me. I gave him my tickets and he came back with his 10 yr old daughter and she had so much fun. As much as I hated not being at the game, it made me feel good to know that his little girl got to see her first NFL game!

Also, when he came back to lot to park, the owner said he thought he saw him there earlier and saw us leave. He had wondered why we left so soon. David told him what happened and the owner said he felt bad about that and refunded the original $20! That was unexpected and totally unnecessary, but just further proved to me how blessed I am to be associated with such good-hearted people!

Good to meet some folks yesterday. Hard to put faces with names so I am sure some of you I will have to ask again if I get to come Friday. Kind of nervous to just jump in but it was great. Everyone was nice. We started to head out before the toast and Yvette called us back, so that was cool. I didn't really know what that was about because I have never paid much attention to the tailgate forums.

Anyway, be blessed and have a Merry Christmas...and Zonian...great to talk to you at length. You're a super guy.

I'm glad I saw you walking away and I had to call you back. Tana/Linda is the one who started the tradition back in 2000 and we carry it on in her memory. She would have liked you and I know you would have liked her. She was a wonderful lady in every sense of the word and I know she was happy you were there :)
