Before the season started, I was comparing how the 2009 season could be a lot like the 2001 and 2004 seasons. We definitely have to bring 2006 into the mix now.
2004 comparison to 2009 - Titans scored over 30 points and lost. Titans lost to Texans at home. QB was replaced that year. (Luckily - the record of that team isn't a factor this season)
2001 comparison to 2009 - Titans never got into a big hole record wise, but they were at 6-7 at this point in the season. The good news is that they won that 14th game to put them at .500 for the first time that season. (The bad news is that they lost the last two games)
2006 comparison to 2009 - VY started after Collins was winless to start the season. Lots of close games and comebacks. Surprisingly enough, the Titans lost their 7th game even earlier than this year's team (9th game, 2-7). It was the 14th game again that pushed them to .500.
So it looks like when the Titans are 6-7, they are 2-0 in going to 7-7. :thumbsup
