Is starting to come back to form. Still some hiccups but thought he made some plays. That INT came at a good time though he could have had one earlier.

Good article from Estwick on him today

No love for Griff? Disappointing...he recovered a fumble and got an interception that really won the game

He also would have been the goat if we had lost. :ohmy

Griffin is a lot like Fisher. He makes you want to cheer and throttle him at the same time. ;)

I disagree that he would be the goat. We left a ton of plays on the field and CJ's fumble hurt a lot.

If you have been following his play he has vastly improved the last few weeks.

Both safeties came up HUGE yesterday!!!! What a difference good safety play makes in this league.

Griffin was impressive. You can't fault him for the freak play, he finally put himself in GREAT position, and it just didn't work out. That crazy stuff happens in big games, it was just unfortunate for him. The thing that impressed me is that he bounced right back and made the PLAY of the game. That is what we need from Griff EVERY Sundaye. Safety play was not an issue yesterday, it was an asset.

Griffin does seem to be getting his game back. Although he hasnt had any INTs before yesterdays game, he has made plays on the ball. A couple of them seem they were stolen by Finny at the last second lol.

but he has also done pretty well in run support.

I just think we were so spoiled by his 7 INTs last year, we expected a bit more from him this season.

Disagree, coaching on the offensive side of the ball nearly lost us that game. Cecil was having an absolute duck fit over the decision to run run run in OT. Bironas misses that FG. He's got half a field to defend with a defense who had been scorched the last 2 time out.

Exactly. see my post in the fish-love thread.. Take away that personal foul after Griffs pick and we are punting instead of kickin a FG. Coaches DID almost lose this game for us.

Was he? Not that I don't believe you, but I didn't see it. I was having a duck fit, I guess. What IS a duck fit? I was apoplectic. I imagine duck fit is at least on the same field as that.

Yeah don28 is the one who picked up on it. I saw the clipboard land and him pretty much walking toward the other end of the sideline.

yea.. i dont know what a Duck fit is either.. but im pretty sure thats what i was having when we passed 3 times and out to end regulation and ran 3 and out to kick the FG.

Cecil threw his clipboard down at the ground in disgust and stomped away after watching the Titans run 3 times in a row in OT. He was standing at the farthest point away from Fisher on the sideline in the canvas-covered box. He was steamed.

I just know that Griffin's missed interception made me madder than any other play on Sunday. I guess it was different for you guys, but that bobbled ball turned the sure win into an almost loss.

I am glad he recovered and made the interception in OT, but if had lost, he would have been #1 on my goat list (Fisher would have been #2).

What made me madder than anything else was when the best play of the 2nd half was a punt that freakishly (luckily) stopped on the one.

IMO,

Griffin has been a HUGE disappointment all season. Coming off a Pro Bowl season, he definitely took a step backwards. The majority of the season he's been either beat or lost completely.

Now the whole secondary has been like this (besides Cortland), but still... I had better hopes for Griffin and Hope this season.

I am not sure what Griff's issues were the first half of the season, but he seems to have got his act together lately.

I hope it continues, we are going to need it.

We need Griff to snap back to form and stay there, especially with Fisher's stubbornness on playing Nick Harper. Now, THAT's the guy we should be worrying about. The way they keep scorching him, I keep half expecting to see the name "NickHarpersUncle" show up on these boards any day now.

Well...the claim was that he was trying to bait qb(s) into throwing his way instead of just playing his responsibilities.

Oh man he needs a therapist, learn some coping skills and assertiveness. Maybe he should talk to VY and get some help.
