Like many of you, I have been disappointed with Nate's performance this year. He has his moments, but more often than not has his 'Natisms'. He had a drop today and then later on he fell on top of a fumble only to allow it escape his hands.

Now what is the true reason that we dont see Lavelle Hawkins more in the game. We have all heard that Lavelle has problems with learning the playbook as well as questions on his work ethic.

Both of their great assets in my opinion are as slot receivers, both are very fast and can make players miss. However, from what I have seen, Hawkins has a greater ability to actually catch the ball.

Now my question is how much should we actually trust from this coaching staff? We are told that Harper is better than Hood. That Harper makes better tackles and is just overall a better corner when from what I see, he is constantly being picked on and is missing several tackles a game. We were fed the fact that Vince was done, he was out and after this year he would likely not be with the Titans. But what happens? Vince comes back in and strikes gold. Now is Nate really that better than Lavelle, or is it once again favortism?

or maybe hawkins is still having issues with his route running.
which is what has hurt him from the start considering otherwise he has good hands.

but at least washington did catch a td today.

nate is actually a pretty productive downfield blocker, as for Hawkins im not too sure.

ive seen hawkins drop quite a few balls this year as well, hes not exactly money.

all i know is, this is the best group of recievers i have seen in the past few years...so i dont really mind any of them one bit. :D

What he is saying is that we were told kerry is our best option and he wast. VY was given a few chances during mop-up and was horrible. But once given the job and coaches start planning with him, he shines. Maybe fisher is sold on nate as a veteran and isn't giving hawk his fare share of chances to push for time. Hawk has been a consitent targer this year when given the chance. Fisher blows

i understand what he means, thats why i stated maybe is because Washington is a better blocker & i too have seen the hawk drop a few balls this year.

& VY is a completely different scenario than Hawkins. Im pretty sure we all wanted to see what Vince could do (of course including Mr. Adams) cause A. 2006 1st Round 3rd pick & b. major salary increase next year

completely different from another 4th Round reciever project who apparently has trouble learning the playbook.

it actually makes more sense to see what Washington has to offer first because we did sign him to a pretty nice FA contract.

If I had to choose one, I'd be a lot happier to see Nate Washington as a starting receiver than to see Nick Harper as a starting CB.

I must admit Hawk has really surprised me. I would like to see him get more playing time but IDK that I want him on the field over Britt, 12Gage and Nate. I think our WR's are playing much better. I'ma finally let 12Gage outta my doghouse lol. That was a great catch for the TD yesterday.

Big plays from Gage and Washington yesterday, it was great to see and we really needed it. Hawkins has looked pretty good as well.... Where is Cook? Still concussed?

Cook was out there on a few plays. I think fan expectations were too high for him this year. Besides, Bo is playing pretty well and it's hard to get him on the field. I'd be willing to bet Dinger doesn't trust his blocking yet.

I don't know about all that, but I think we get carried away with the Nick Harper stuff. We all know that Hood had three picks, but I wonder how many people have watched tape and seen how well he played across the board? Of course Harper gets thrown on-he's playing opposite a really good corner in Finnegan.

I think Hawkins has a good future here. He has taken advantage of the opportunities he's had, and looks GREAT when he catches the ball.:)

I personally think the coaches play who gives us the best chance to win. Anything else makes no sense.

I do too and that's what makes some decisions so maddening. There's obviously a lot more going on we know nothing about and will probably never know, or the coaches have lost their minds. I don't know... maybe temporary insanity sometimes? :lol

Yep, and it's not like I don't feel that way, too. But, you gotta have a little faith.:lol
