Keys to The Game:
Last two times we have played the San Diego Chargers have resulted in heartbreaks. In both games, we were in heavy control of the game but the Chargers were able to come back and get the win.

-We must keep turnovers to a minimum. When we faced the Chargers in the playoffs, we had two turnovers. One was a Chris Brown fumble within the Charger redzone and another was a Vince Young interception in the 4th quarter. That fumble by Chris Brown swung the momentum of the game and really hurt us.

-Another key to victory is that we must keep the petal to the metal. As we saw this past week, Miami was able to storm back once we shut down our offense and switched to a more passive defense. Maybe it was prevent defense or a lack of determination, but if we get ahead on the Chargers, we must continue to take chances and play hard. The Chargers were able to come back and beat us in overtime after an early Titan lead several years ago. In the past, when we have kept pressure on Rivers, he has been very ineffective against us. But when we switch to a soft zone or prevent to prevent the big play, the Chargers seemed to be able to methodically move down the field picking up 12 yards at a time.

-I dont think we need to worry to much about LT. He has tailed off since the last time we faced him and even then we were always able to keep him in check. In the playoff game of 07, we held him to 42 yards on 21 attempts and in the regular season of that year it wasnt until overtime that he broke the century mark.

We must play in order to win the game, if we play in hopes of not losing then they will win another game. We must play hard nonstop and play without mercy. We must send more blitzes then usually to shake up Rivers as that has seemed to be very successful in years past.

1. Hope that whoever Harper lines up on doesn't rip him a new one. I'm taking bets Nate Kaeding will beat him for a TD, hope I'm wrong.

2. Hope Antonio Gates doesn't rip our injury depleted LB's a new one.

3. Offer the officials, or the Chargers, or both, a bribe.

My comprehensive gameplan for the offense is to limit turnovers, & get the ball to Chris Johnson. If that doesn't work, get the ball to Chris Johnson some more.

gates is going to be a big problem with the troubles they have in dealing with tight ends.

They'll be able to pass on us and we'll be able to run on them. It's the O or D that does best at what it does least well that will prevail. That, and what happens with turnovers.

The Chargers are good and they are willing to grind it out. But, they can be had.

Miami got a break on that INT that turned into a TD, and losing KB hurt. I'm more afraid of what Rivers can do to us.

To win, CJ has to run wild, and we have to controll the clock

If the officials are anything like the Miami game, we got this one in the bag!

1.- McRath must have a great game, specially by stopping Gates.

2.- Our pass rush D, must become a factor. Hopefully they can find ways to sack Rivers' at least 3 times. (But our D has been poor at sacks this season).

3.- Harper... I'm not sure where this guy forgot his days at Indianapolis. Over there he was very difficult to pass...with the Titans he has become in a clear target to throw over and over again.

4.- Last game was Gage who become the most important receiver. Washington can't find a rythm. This is a game where Britt has to shine. Scaife must become an important piece in our passing game. If Young can find ways to give balance to his passing game between Gage, Britt and Scaife...our offense should march on.

5.- If our passing game finds a good rythm, CJ will have another good game. At least one of 100+ yds. and a TD, or a couple of TD's.

He didnt forget anything... actually, hes probably a smarter corner now. But he's 35 years old. How many 35 year old corners you know out there that can run with receivers consistently?

Time for a change, then.

If for whatever reason a player is not good to play at the required level, is time for a change. For me is really hard to see this game as a drama/romantic movie.

Wipe the smirk off of Rivers face, thats the biggest key.

Basically our defense is our weakness, i think we have are developing a top tier offense and our key to victory is to pretend we are playing IND. Do all we can to stay on the field. Go for it on use 4th and shorts and use creative playcalls. We need to keep our defense fresh. I think we win the coin toss and defer. Our defense stops them early, next we have a long drive, score the spend the remaining of the 2nd quarter on defense. Hold to a FG and hope our offense can score when we get the ball back in the 3rd. Go up by a few TDs and just keep killing the clock with long drives.

One factor not yet mentioned is the 12th man. LP needs to be loud and rockin'. Encourage all fans to make as much noise as possible when we're on defense!!
