I've attending a lot of Titans games and our seats are in the South end zone. Usually I just park near 1st avenue and walk over the Shelby Avenue pedestrian bridge, hang a left, through the gate and down the stairs to my seats.

For Christmas I'm sending my Dad (almost 70) and his brother (almost 80) to the game on Friday and I was wondering about the best way for them to get to the game. They cant walk very far, and I've just never done it any other way (except for the times I've gotten a parking pass).

Can anyone recommend a good way for two old dudes to get to the South End zone without having to hike too far?

The shuttles! Haven't ever rode them but they do drop you off right in front of the stadium.

There isn't a good way to avoid some walking (barring buying a parking pass near the end zone), but I would recommed riding the shuttle to the game. http://www.titansonline.com/stadium/shuttle-service.html

The main problem is that the shuttle lets fans off in the North end zone, so they would still have to walk all the way around.

Call the stadium (565-4000) and ask to speak to Dempsey Henderson. Hopefully he or someone else can answer your question or give you suggestions. If all you get is his voicemail, leave a message then call back and try the operator, explain what you need.

yvette: Dempsey Henderson called me back. what a nice guy! he 2nded youe suggestion on the shuttle. He said taxi was a great way to get TO the game, but getting one AFTER the game could be a 2 hour wait. I will recommend the shuttle to Dad and Uncle. They can make it the length of the stadium. Thanks guys.

Is the Music City Queen running this year? I haven't noticed. If it is, it's the best by far, as it drops you right at the south end of the stadium. I took the General Jackson a couple of times when I had a knee replaced-couldn't have been smoother. Worth checking.

It's obviously running. :) It shows the price w/buffet, but the General Jackson had a ride only ticket that was way cheaper. You might call them and see if that's available.

I hope they get there and have fun, in any case.
