That no kicking fool lost the game, too busy practicing golf instead of his kicking. If we had a Bironas type kicker back then we would of won that Superbowl and maybe a couple more.

I knew when I saw the TN Oilers play the Bears at Vanderbilt the year before they should of gotten rid of him. Instead of watching the game and getting ready to run on and kick the winning field goal he wasn't even paying attention and didn't run out in time and the clock ran out.

You ALL know the fool I'm talking about, another one of Fisher's mistakes, too loyal to those that let the "team" down. Fisher has a long history of being too dam loyal to the wrong players...... the list is very long. The most recent being Harper and before him Adam Jones, yes even letting Steve play when he was too hurt. To me Fisher has been very lucky, a great coach would of won at least 3 SB's with the players this team has had the last 10+ years. IMHO!

Yes that game is too painful to watch again, but I do miss seeing Steve and Dyson and the rest..... Matthews, Bishop, Robertson, George, Wycheck.......... and on and on, how could those teams not of won at least 3 SBs. Coaching my friends, coaching, you put Walsh or Landry in charge of those players and there would of been many more wins. Fisher is just dumb lucky if you ask me........ now I will get off my rant and get some sleep for another great tailgate tomorrow, and hopefully another lucky win for Fish and hopefully the team can outplay is inability to coach once again.

some of steve's greatest games came when he was too hurt.

the only time they shouldnt have played him was right after he slammed into the locker in the dallas game.

that al missed kicks inside a dome was rather suprising .
he had a pretty high percentage on non grass surfaces (remember the eagles game with what five kicks) even toward the end.
the thing that got him out wasnt just the ravens game but that overall during the last year his percentages kicking on grass went downhill very fast.

what killed the titans in the superbowl was that marcus didnt even start the game and they lost blaine during it.

add in thigpen was out (well he was almost always out) and the crazy stuff that went on with their practice and press briefing situations things were just getting odd.

i also wonder how things would have gone down if they had an off week until the superbowl.
theirs was one of the few that the game was right after the championship game.
a lot is made of how recently some teams played in all the rounds and won the superbowl.
but most also had a week off between the championship game and the superbowl.
