He wasn't out there and all in the second half, McCourty didn't look to bad either. Hopefully this is the beginning of the end for Harper, to bad it took so long to finally realize that he was worse than a 5th round rookie.

he injured his arm, he wasnt benched.

say what you want about harper, cause i know i have too...but im pretty sure he is the only defensive back that made a play on the ball the whole game.

which should speak volumes to how poor they have been this season.

By play on the ball do you mean tackled the guy after a 20 yard reception?

By play on the ball do you mean not tackling the guy giving up a 20 yard reception?

Fixed it! :thumbsup

um no, im talking about one of the first plays of the game when philys rivers was trying to go deep but threw it too short and harper managed not to screw it up.

Oh, you definitely weren't at the game then. I'm sure on tv because of the angle of them just showing the ball you didn't get to see downfield, but if you had you would have been breathing a sigh of relief because Harper was burned like a marshmallow over a bonfire! He's just lucky Rivers couldn't get the ball deeper cus I'm pretty sure half the stadium would have rushed the field and torn him apart like a pack of ravenous zombies... he was beat that badly.

I think my fat lineman butt could of covered better than his sorry decrepit old self. If I were him I wouldn't wait for the coaches to bench me, i would just retire tomorrow and save myself the shame, he's awful!

I'm sorry, he's a player for my team and i normally am not this harsh on guys that are tryin hard... but at some point you just have to realize your the weakest link on the team and just give it up. I also blame the coaches for pulling a Rey Hill on this and acting like his experience somehow makes up for his terrible play and inability to tackle (which apparently is supposed to be his strength?)

He definitely got beat on that play but Rivers underthrew the ball (one of his very few bad throws of the game). Finnegan hurt us too and Chris Hope had a terrible game! Griff too. :sad I thought McCourty did pretty well in relief though.

you know griff except for that one interception had an awful season but he got a pass from a lot of fans unlike harper.

while harper except for that one saved played badly so did most of the defense.
finnegan was just awful and seemed to totally forget the basics of defending the pass.

the dline was just letting people rush through them.
if they were not getting penalties.

oh yea i saw he clearly got beat! but like i said rivers threw the ball to short & i said harper managed not to screw it up.

i like finnegan but how many PI calls did he even get? (even thou the first one looked like a garbage call idk)

our run game was horrid last night too, so that is pretty much proof if KB can rehab in time...we NEED this man back next year. his "old legs" is better than colin "worm food" allred

the first pass interference was more legit then the second.
he didnt even make an attempt to turn and look at the ball on the first one.

on the second he got flagged because it was such an obvious hold though he was looking at the ball.

if you are a defender you have to be playing the ball to get away with interfering.
grade school 101 for corner backs.

Most of the time, teachers' pets don't put forth the effort needed because they know they don't have to. I'm sure we all remember some from school.
