.... every game we would have needed to go our way will lol. The Ravens and Broncos and Jets and Jags and everybody will lose lol.

It sucks that we didnt get in but WOW what a turn around. It was great to see what this team is capable of doing when firing on all cylinders or even most cylinders. Vince has a chance to come and go 8-2 as a starter this year. Im ready for some defensive changes and a productive year next year.

Thank you Titans for making the last 2 months great every weekend and thanks to the site for allowing us all to vent and cheer and complain and congratulate all year.

This sucks. Just sucks. Pitt is up now too. Not sure how much time is left. Odd as it sounds the Texans may ending benefitting from our losing. No way the Broncs are winning vs. Philly tonite.

If the Broncs and Jets lose...do the Texans make it into playoffs assuming they beat NE?
I guess the Broncs have to lose one more? A friend of mine who is a long suffering fan of the Texans asked me...hilarious because he totally didn't care until he realized all of these teams were falling ahead of them today.

It would have been fun but honestly we weren't going to do anything in the playoffs with this defense.

not surprising considering that all those teams were heavy favorites besides Pitt...now if denver loses to KC and Balt loses to Oakland and Pitt loses to Miami next week i will be pissed

It looks like the Jets blew the scenario anyway.

I blame the Colts more than the Jets.

The Colts deserve to be booed for that.

Did you see what Peyton was mouthing to the head coach?

I think Pouton was mouthing at Mudd the OC. but you may have seen something I didn't. If I was a colt fan I would be terribly pizzed off, just as Pouton was!

Peyton should've pulled a Favre. :lol

the colts fans were pissed.
but yeah with miami losing and the jets win i think would have been that.

back to the colts.
i sorta wonder what this does to the morale of all the players who still had to play.
especially go from winning to losing so fast.
they might have been better off to just let peyton play a quater but to keep him in so long.. it just feels more drastic.

the ravens are playing the raiders, there is no way they will loose to oakland! but everything else will happen that you said face!

Ravens are 2-5 on the road this year, and Oakland has beaten the Steelers, Eagles, Bengals, and Broncos this year.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Ravens lose.

Even if we had won we can't really say anything about the Colts pulling the starters against the Jets. They helped us out a few years ago when we beat them at the RCA Dome and we got in and the Browns were left out.

Was it Vince's rookie year? The Titans had to win (against the Pats, I think)the last game of the season and all these other things had to happen (I believe a 49ers win over somebody good) and the Titans lost and all the other things that had to happen did? So all they had to do to get in the playoffs was win and they were in, my feelings were hurt all offseason on that one...

Yep, that was a hard, muddy, tough game. VY was devastated. I remember Maroney coming over after the game and trying to console him.

If we had beaten the Chargers, we would have needed 3 of 4 things to happen:

Steelers lose to Miami
Ravens lose to Oakland
Broncos lose to Chiefs
Jets lose to Bengals

It looks like only one will happen (Chiefs beat Broncos), so we weren't going to make it anyway.

I believe beating the chargers would have altered the outcome of these games through the power of chaos theory.
