View Full Version : Does anyone know?
Does anyone here know who is next in line to run the business should Mr. Adams not be able to do so? Someone mentioned his age and I thought that at 87 years old, anything is likely to happen faster than the snap of your fingers. Will the next owner do things differently?

I think it's his grandson.

Titans Owner Bud Adams for the first time publicly said that the franchise "would remain in the family after his death and he envisions his grandson, Kenneth Adams IV, someday calling the shots," according to Jim Wyatt of the Nashville TENNESSEAN. Under the current succession plan, Adams said the team would be split into thirds among his two daughters, Susie Smith and Amy Strunk, and the family of deceased son Kenneth Adams III. He added that his daughters "aren't interested in running the team," and grandson Barclay is still in college.

One of his grandson's is working for the organization. He's the one everyone thinks will take over.

Who knows how that will all play out.
Once Bud is gone, will his family really want to run the team from Houston?
If someone comes along and throws a lot of $$$ their way would they turn it down?
When you have a partnership (and that's what it sounds like they'll have), even among family members disagreements can take place, and often do.
I wouldn't be surprised to see them sell the team. Maybe not immediately, but after a few seasons.

as long as they stay where they are. i dont want to be a fan of the LA Titans
trying toget to a game in Nashville is hard, if they move ill probably never get to see them @ home
Thanks for the info, everyone. It would be great if the grandson takes on the job and loves it, but we shouldn't be disappointed if that does not happen. I hope Mr. Adams is still around to coach the young'n when he takes over the business!
