Kevin Mawae: Ed Block Courage Award

Titans center Kevin Mawae has been named by his teammates this year’s recipient of the Ed Block Courage Award, presented to one player from every NFL team who exemplifies a commitment to the principles of sportsmanship and courage.

Mawae, a seven-time Pro Bowler, battled back from reconstructive surgery for a torn triceps in his right elbow this offseason to be a part of an offensive line that’s considered one of the best in the NFL.
