Heading into the season finale against the Seahawks, Johnson is the league's leading rusher and needs 234 yards to break Eric Dickerson's single-season record of 2,105. He has 10 100-yard games.

The offensive line — tackles Michael Roos and David Stewart, guards Jake Scott and Eugene Amano, center Kevin Mawae — has allowed 15 sacks, second-fewest in the league.

"You take into consideration that C.J.'s leading the next rushing player by 525 yards, our offensive line was deserving,'' Coach Jeff Fisher said. "It's just that case where at any of those positions there are two or three slots and there's four or five worthy of it. I'm disappointed for them. I think any one of those guys on our offensive line is deserving of it.''

It defies logic no matter how you look at it. I'm ignoring the fan vote but there's no excuse for the players and coaches.

It is too bad, when they have been lauded as one of the best as a whole that at least one of them can't be invited.

What I like to do in these situations is look at who did get selected and then compare them to our players. This worked out well when Bulluck appeared to be snubbed, because most of the time the Pro Bowl selections were better.

Tackle * Jake Long, Miami
* Ryan Clady, Denver
Joe Thomas, Cleveland

Guard * Logan Mankins, New England
* Alan Faneca, N.Y. Jets
Kris Dielman, San Diego

Center * Nick Mangold, N.Y. Jets
Jeff Saturday, Indianapolis

My problem is that I don't know these guys except for Saturday. But for those of you that know them , which ones were the Titans' better at?

I don't think you can look just at sacks allowed or CJ's numbers. If you look at sites rating individual performance none our our Olinemen were even in the top 15.

if our o-line were a single person, it would have the most votes no doubt

The "nobody loves us and we were mistreated" mantra does get old after a while. A winning season might have made a difference....

Several were listed as alternates and will end up as Pro Bowlers....so the snub will be short-lived. And yes, it defies logic that as a unit they were great at pass protection and run blocking and yet no individual was seen as first team worthy. It's like in the Oscars when a film get "Best Picture" and the Director doesn't even get nominated. Happened at least once. Weird.

Indeed. At least as good as our record. Rather than complaining, we should be glad this year is over....
