I knew this was a negative post about Jeff Fisher even before I clicked the link.
Why was I stupid enough to click the link? :doh

We really shouldn't copy and paste whole posts from other message boards, unless they are your own. Can you just make it a link instead?
Thanks.

No offense to the original poster but there is a lot of crap on TitansCentral and I hope it says over there.

Some valid points, some invalid points. I will be thinking this over once the season ends. There's an awful lot to digest about this franchise. Fifteen years worth of information to be exact.

Yea sorry about that. And this post is not my opinion at all. I think it just makes plenty of good points about the organization.

can't wait to see the message board during the offseason.
I wonder how many fisher threads when can fit on the first page.

you know it is sorta rude to just copy and paste an entire post from another board without at least asking permission of the person who posted it.
it really should have been posted as a link in the already existing jeff fisher thread imo...
really one could draw the conclusion that the titans were not lucky enough to have bill polian.

He had me up until "poor treatment of McNair" which is documented as bull****.
Talent evaluation. There are too many key players on this team that someone else drafted and not enough that we drafted. Fisher has more say in personnel and the evaluation doesn't appear to have changed that much. We gave the Pats a 2 for Cook?
His ego and unwillingness to be adaptable makes me insane. The two areas that really killed us are the two spots that many fans asked questions about and the media asked questions about before this season even started. CB and returner.
When asked he likes to act like he is smarter than anyone else, looks down his nose at the person who dares to ask the question like they are an idiot. He gets it, you don't.
You don't coach in the NFL, how could YOU possibly know anything about MY job you insignificant pissant.
Harper shouldn't have gotten his job back. period.
This team has NO discipline. Coach making excuses for why Tony Brown costs us a chance to win a game. Constant errors in judgement that are excused. penalties, penalties, penalties. But when asked, YOU don't know what happened. YES I do know what happened, YOUR GUY lost his composure and went douche on us. THAT is precisely what happened, why it happened, is meaningless.
Players play, coaches coach, 0 - 6 was not the talent we had, you can only lay that stretch in one place, on Fishers door step. The EGO needs to go.

That has always been my beef with him. I've quoted a line from the movie Remember the Titans before, "Attitude reflects leadership" and I believe it had a trickle down effect.
I also said that if everyone on the team didn't hit rock bottom, it wasn't going to get better. Well, collectively they got better but some individually still have work to do. If they remain with the team and don't do the work, history will repeat.
THAT is precisely what happened, why it happened, is meaningless.
It has meaning to some sitting in the court of public opinion and, like you, I'm not one of them. I'll rationalize injuries but not stupidity. Honestly, I'm having a hard time giving a pass to Griff for whatever is distracting him. I understand he's young and may not have the best coping skills, just like VY before him. I also understand it's 100% ego not to reach out for help when there are so many resources easily and readily available to them! Same thing for Harper, when he said his arm was never fully healed. He put his ego before the team and that burns me.
Seems like the common theme here is ego.

I think Harper was pushed into playing. I doubt that he made that decision on his own. Fisher had the option of Rod Hood, and chose not to exercise it. Fisher needs to live with that decision.

I agree with the lead off post and this post also. Now that we know Harper was still injured speaks volumes to me of Fishers ineptittude and arrogance.
I also agree with those who spoke of the LACK OF DISCIPLINE. After today's SeaHawks game, that is near the top of my concerns about JF.
JF simply has too much power within this organization and his mistakes are the reasons Titans will not necessarily make the playoffs in the future much less the AFC Championship game or Superbowl.
I think this franchise will do very well without JF.
