Any word on any special happenings that day? Yvette had suggested a gathering at USA Sports Bar in Mt. Juliet if nothing else is going on. I had a great time last year at Johnathans.

Do you guys really get a lot out of a draft party? I just can't imagine staying at one for an entire day, waiting hours for the Titans to announce their pick. I could understand it in 2005 and 2006 when the Titans drafted fairly early, but not at #30. Plus, there are only two rounds on the first day now.
I love almost anything Titans related, but I doubt I will ever attend a draft party.

I always have a blast. It's kind of cool seeing who the other teams pick and just hanging out with friends. Never paid attention though, before we got the Titans.
I had a blast last year! :)

The only problem with a draft party is all the draft beer that I could potentially consume before the Titans get to their pick.:toast
Actually that may not be a problem. I could always find out who we picked on Sunday.

I shot out an email asking about this and got back "In the works".
The bad economy has made it extra difficult on everyone involved with events like this and while sponsorship is in the works for the draft party, nothing is final as of yet. It will be posted on Titans Radio's website the second anything is in stone.

My sister.
Its a test. My sister scheduled her wedding the same weekend Ole Miss was playing in a bowl game (and you know they don't do that very often), just to see if her fiance would ignore it and focus on her. I tried to convince him to go to the game instead of the wedding, but he went through with it.

Hmmmm...When my g/f was scheduling our wedding in 2007, she decided that a wedding from late August on was off the table because she didn't want me to miss any of my Nebraska games.
That was great scheduling and it's too bad that she couldn't have scheduled her surgery to make the tailgate.

I talked to Vickie a few hours ago, she said KVB "may" have a couple of his buds with him but no names were given out, she also said they still had plenty of the VIP dinners. I told her I had no problem with the money just the location (so far from home) and the color of the jersey (blue). She laughed when I asked for a Red one, but also said it may be worked out. I said "Yeh right", lol having said all of that......... USA SB is where I will be, I may send a check for the kids any way but, being a late draft (time wise), and me being so far from there........
