One of these is interesting to watch. One of them isn't.
I respect Hogan for what he did for the business but have always hated him for how he helped ruin it too.
I have always been a huge Shawn Michaels fan and always understood why Vince did what he did but still never liked it. I do like seeing Brett back on tv now and it actually made me make sure I tuned in for wrestling for the first time in a long time.

TNA has done a great job of bringing in all of the WWE's washouts and druggies.

Figures....
I'm guessing that's in response to Vince kicking Bret.
I knew something like that would be coming since it has been rumored that Bret will face Vince in one form or another at Wrestlemania. I like the idea of that somehow involved the Brittish Bulldogs kid and the rest of the Hart Dynasty.

You got it... Vince angles are old and he's doing a stand up job of barely making it.

Wow, I see what you're talking about.
Stay with me now. I’ll walk you through this. I’ll keep this simple. Let’s say, Johnny has two apples. He gives one away and does not have it anymore. So how many apples does Johnny have left? OK, now, boys and girls, real slow…. Johnny had two, Johnny gave one away, (too fast?…ok, I’ll slow down) so two minus one leaves Johnny with how many? One? Did you say you one, you cutey pie? Good job students!! Hooray!!! Hooray for you!!! You get a John Cena ice cream bar!!!
The very fact that it was dismissed means there cannot be damages recovered. Duh. One kinda has to precede the other. Of course, you would not grasp that concept…because you write columns without, first, using a mind or holding an idea of what you are doing.
Oh, well…back to my real life. My happy, still-alive life. Perhaps the truth is you can only understand me if I do speak in Ultimate Warrior tongues. Hmmm.. something to consider.

Last night was the first time I watched Monday night wrestling in months. They can put whoever they want on those shows, they will never relive the rating they were getting in the late 90's. I would like to see TNA succeed just to force WWE to put out a better and less kid friendly product. However much like the Oakland Raiders, I do not see the WWE improving until its current owner is 6 feet under.

The Raiders can only dream of having an owner like Vince. Sure he hasn't recaptured 2001 again, but the talent he had back then in terms of the mic was insane. Even today, their ratings are still very respectable. An amazing feat if you ask me.

For the people that say WWE is fake, I'd like to see them try.

When is wrestling going to go away? I used to watch it, but stopped about 8 or 9 years ago. Too much of a soap opera for me now.

Dude it is fake. It has writers, plots and timed moves. The one thing that you can not take away is the athleticism.

I enjoyed the WWE a lot more in the 90's. Now...I don't know what it all has become. All I know is that I celebrate watching the Divas. :D

I use to think it was real, back in the eighties when I was 8 years old.
It's fake, but it's still entertainment to a lot of people, and the wrestlers are athletes, but man some of them sure do live recklessly.

Back in the 80's I saw Jimmy Superfly Snuka vs Magnificent Morocco live.... I never was a WWF fan but a buddy of mine was so I went with him for a laugh. Probably 83 or 84 I would say.

My first 'real' experience was back in the 80s when I saw the WWF live at Maple Leaf Gardens. I remember the match - Greg "The Hammer" Valentine and Brutis Beefcake vs The Killer Bees - Valentine tried one of his patented elbows, only it missed Brunzell? by a mile, yet Brunzell acted like he had been shot. I was maybe 25 rows away and I think traumatized for life.

My first experience was at the first house show they did at MTSU, right after Warrior dropped the belt to Slaughter at the Royal Rumble. They had a cage match that night. Bunch of no shows, was forced to watch Bobby Heenan put Piper over, disturbing seeing him in tights.
