LenDale White, expected to a restricted free agent, will not be offered a long-term deal by the Titans according to beat writer Jim Wyatt.
White could be used as trade bait, but the Titans wouldn't get much in return for their former goal-line back. Chances are White will return as the backup, with Javon Ringer also mixed in. That may not make White happy, but he probably doesn't have a choice.
Free agent CB Nick Harper is not expected back with the Titans in 2010.
Harper turns 36 in July, dealt with complications from a broken forearm throughout the season's second half, and was a coverage liability at 100 percent. The one-time Hamilton Tiger-Cat's career may be over entirely.
The Nashville City Paper suggests that the Titans could re-sign free agent WLB Keith Bulluck to a "one-year, incentive-laden deal."
It would be best for both sides. Bulluck might've struck it pretty rich had he not torn his ACL in Week 15, but his status for Week 1 in 2010 is now in doubt. Going on age 33, Bulluck is also at risk of losing quite a bit of speed.
Impending free agent Alge Crumpler plans to continue his playing career.
The 32-year-old can still block, but averaged a career-worst 8.2 YPC in 2009 and didn't have a reception in the final three games. He likely won't be back in Tennessee with Jared Cook's role likely to expand next season.

I wish lendale would play in our division and start, good bye harper, re-sign keith. And crumpler is more important that scaife imo. Crumpler is a great blocker and also is cooks mentor. While cook can take on scaifes roll. I wish we would resign kearse for cheap, he is good for depth and if we get a powerful interior lineman then our de will play better. kvb can walk. All he does is run all the way around the lineman and the qb steps up. If were lucky, the qb wont and kvb can maybe get a sack, but i think he would be only good for depth as well.

Teams LenDale could start for right now in my opinion:
New England
Cleveland
Houston
Kansas City
Oakland
Seattle
New Orleans
Tampa Bay
And maybe a few more next year depending on free-agent statuses

I could see him starting in New England, Cleveland, and Seattle.
Houston is really hoping Slaton returns to form.
Kansas City is set with Charles.
Oakland has McFadden who is more talented and they still use a rotation. It wouldn't be a good fit for LenDale.
New Orleans is set with Pierre Thomas, Mike Bell, and Reggie Bush. He could maybe take Bell's place but that's mainly a backup role too.
I think he'd be in a rotation in Tampa. He'd definitely play but maybe not be THE guy.

With Slaton as their strongest card in the RB position, then is when I think that LenDale will fit in a very good way in Houston (then he also becomes a familiar weapon to help them against the division rivals)...I hope I am wrong, I really do.

I say we keep Lendale and actually use him!.... I know CJ is great but why not use Lendale too, at least in short yard situations or against teams that are weak against the inside run! It also would keep CJ fresh later in the year. WE have a super back in CJ but running backs in the NFL have a shelf life. Why not make it longer for CJ!

so much of the fate of lendale and others depends on the cba stuff.
does any one remember what the chargers got for turner.
lendale should be more then that.

Chargers didn't get anything for Turner. He was a free agent

It's not Fisher, it's Byner that doesn't like him.

I've seen Byner and LenDale joke around before, so I'm not sure about that....Dinger could also hate him though

just curious where those posting fisher/byner/dinger could possibly "hate" lendale.
do you have any sources or is it merely speculation?

Speculation...Just the passive way Fisher referrs to him, it's somewhat obvious
