i have no idea how i added a G to his last name... anyway, could the titans be interested? maybe this will add motivation for Holt to sign?

It's most likely going to take a 1st and 3rd (which I don't think we have) to get him. With us not having a 3rd round pick to trade it would probably take adding in a 2nd round pick next year. He's not worth that unless we can sign him to a long term deal before the trade is completed.

I doubt this has any effect on whether or not Holt gets signed by someone soon. I'm pretty sure Holt is happy with not needing to show up to the "voluntary" workouts right now so he'll wait and sign until later in the offseason.

I guess my thinking with Holt may be flawed but, I believe the Titans are the team that has expressed the most interest and given him the highest offer. My thought was if he sees us making (at least what appears to be) a serious move for anquan or another reciever, he might think of signing before we get that other reciever and drop our offer.

While that is possible I highly doubt he will see us getting involved in trade talks for Boldin. It's just not the style of this team.

I'm pretty sure we do have a 3rd round pick. It's our 5th rounder that we lost in the Pacman deal.

Seriously, if you wish to discuss what teams are interested, and who will make serious offers, go ahead. But if you wish to speculate about the Titans getting involved, feel free, but there's not a single one of you who actually believe the Titans will even be mentioned in this deal.

It's a big, bold sort of move, not a tiny, safe, no-risk, no-waves move, so there's no chance in hell Reinfeldt even thinks about it, whether it would be worth it to the team or not.

I doubt we even make a play for him, but I am still wishing.

we will make a play im sure....we will probably never know it though since it will probably be a Haynesworth Esq offer....We say ok we will give you Justin McCareins and a 7th for Arizona's first rounder and Anquan Boldin....they will immediately hang up the phone and he will go to the fricking Colts or something...so we at least "TRIED"???" to get him

If we throw in Reynaldo Hill I think we can get him. To bad we didn't resign J Mac or Rey Rey. We do have Chris Henry thow, and for some reason people think he has trade value.

cant we act interested in him in the same way kurt warner acted interested in an offer from the 49ers? :P

Maybe if Fisher parachutes onto Bouldins front yard he'll consider giving us a look in a few years when his contract runs out. The Cards hold all the .... cards. Bouldin has no real position from which to force their hand. Anquan will be wearing red this season.

From what I've seen and read, Boldin will probably end up being a Giant. Unless the Browns really trade Braylon Edwards, who IMO has a bigger upside.

i can see the giants trying to make a move since they let go of plaxico. but i dont know if they would give a 1 and 3 to get him. i could see them givin him a big contract if they were to aquire him but not tradin for that much.

i think boldin has the better upside than edwards but i think it all depends on what system and if the oc knows how to utilize them.

The G-men don't have a lot of holes, but WR is one huge glaring abyss. People forget that Boldin was very, very good before Fitzy was drafted. He's one of those guys you'd pay a higher price for, so I don't think a first and a third is out of the question.

I only like Edwards' upside because he's a little younger and a little faster.

With hands of stone.

Bouldin catches everything in his zip code.

If Bouldin and Edwards were both stranded on an Iceberg, Bouldin would catch a cold, the clap, the season finale of Heroes and a ride off that frigid rock before Edwards caught a ball.

Edwards is fast though.
