I'm fine with this. I hope Mccourty or Mouton steps up and takes the spot across from Finny, but Hood is good vertern depth.

Agreed, his tackling leaves something to be desired

Not as much as Harpers in those last few games. Finny on one side, our first round pick on the other, and Hood or Fuller playing the nickel, we'd actually have depth in the secondary!
I don't think we're gonna go DE first round like all these analyst seem to think, DB help is much more pressing in that we have the best D-line coach in the NFL and just need someone with raw talent. With as deep as this draft is we could easily find that in the third round with our pick or the compensatory pick we'll get.

Now this is a signing that makes me more positive toward the Titans. Rod Hood should have been playing instead of Harper last season.

This signing, while nothing major, will have a huge affect on our draft. I would be willing to bet a lot that we now go DE in round 1.

Like Johnny said, DLine is filled with loads of talent this year. We should draft a DB, prefereably an impact corner and look for a talented DE or DT in the later drafts. Washburn doesn't need a diamond to make a stud.

Anyone but Harper.
We have had a tone of problems to find a solid CB on that side.

I am glad to see the FO resign him.
I kind of hope that someone else emerges in training camp hopefully one of our young guys in mccourty or mouton.
Last year I was one of them who wanted to see Hood in there over Harper when Harper returned from his broken arm and then when Hood finally got the nod he all of a sudden didnt look as good as I had thought when he was making thos int's and I refused to believe some of the people on here saying Hood is not who we think he is.
While I do think he will be good for depth I now almost would rather have old man harper in there over hood. So hopefully Mccourty or mouton will be able to make strides from what little time they were in there last season and be able to make a good compliment to Finny.
And from what I have read and heard DE is not one of the deeper positions in the draft while DT may be a little deeper the way it sound is safety/corner is the deepest positions in the draft.
