Thought I'd start a new thread for this year if that's ok. :)
Starting off I'm really scratching my head over Nick Stephens leaving UTK. Does he have an offer from somewhere else guaranteeing he will start? I know he wants to go somewhere in Texas where he's from.

Majors On Dooley
There's not much better for an SEC football fan than talking the sport with Johnny Majors. Here are some of his thoughts from a recent conversation.
On Derek Dooley coaching at UT even though his father, Vince Dooley, coached at Georgia for 25 years:
"I'd say a lot of people probably wouldn't have thought about that happening. But stranger things have happened. I'd say it's going to be interesting."
On Derek Dooley's challenge to turn the Vols around after two losing seasons since 2005:
"I think they've got a challenge here for the next two or three years. To get it turned around is going to be challenging. But you never know, with the right type coaching. Coaching makes a difference."
On the impact a coach can have on a team:
"A coach can take a poor team and make them respectable by the way they line up, the way the come off the ball, they don't get stupid penalties, that they're disciplined, they're orderly and they give effort...and they know how to play the kicking game."

The most diversified offense in college football in the past decade belonged to - drum roll, please - Oregon State.
The Beavers had eight 1,000-yard rushers, six 3,000-yard passers and seven 1,000-yard receivers. That gives them a Rivals.com-based "diversification quotient" of 21. How did we come up with the 21? Easy - we simply added the number of 1,000-yard rushers, 3,000-yard passers and 1,000-yard receivers.
Hawaii actually had a higher quotient (22), but the Warriors had no 1,000-yard rushers; instead, all their points came because of 13 1,000-yard receivers and nine 3,000-yard passers. Texas Tech had the third-highest quotient at 20, but, again, the Red Raiders scored in just two categories. As with Hawaii, Tech had no 1,000-yard rushers. Instead, it was all via the air (10 3,000-yard passers and 10 1,000-yard receivers).
The other schools in the top five were Texas (18) and Oklahoma (17), which each scored in all the categories.
We've compiled a list at how each of the 120 FBS schools fared reaching those statistical milestones in the past decade. Plus, we've come up with the charts below spotlighting the good and the bad in terms of reaching those milestones.

we scoff at "diversified"....we like to line it up against the nations #2 run defense in TX and the nations best defense in Florida...and our lottery numbers go in this order........ 12-22, 12-3
in an era of Spreads, gimmicks, and winding gate punts or whatever the hell you call them, who would have thought a team could pass for 57 yards in a BCS title game and score 37?
i hope we dont try to become more diversified next year just because we think we have all this talent. its simply put the ball in trent and mark's hands as often as possible, mix in a little PA here and there and NEVER pass more than 19 times a game. (unless heaven forbid we fall way behind in a game or the last drive dictates it)

MARYVILLE — The tumultuous offseason for the University of Tennessee football program that led to the hiring of new Coach Derek Dooley has been a blessing in disguise, according former NFL star Herschel Walker.
Quantcast
"Derek (Dooley) has done very well and is a very smart young man," Walker said. "I've known him since he was a little boy. I'm happy to see him here and see (former UT Coach Lane) Kiffin leave."

That article in the end contradicts itself. It talks about doing all of that but also says the BCS is unlikely to do anything, the NCAA doesn't regulate championships. The may vacate the Heisman, but at this point it doesn't even matter.

The University of Michigan slapped itself on the wrist Tuesday. Michigan imposed light sanctions on its once pristine football program over allegations it engaged in extra practice sessions and other transgressions.
The school admitted it had broken some NCAA rules and said it should be put on probation for two years, lose 130 hours of practice time that it previously exceeded and voluntarily cut the number of “quality control coaches” (low level assistants/interns) from five to three. One of them had been fired previously for lying to NCAA investigators.
Long-term it’s a virtually meaningless punishment, which isn’t to say it isn’t appropriate. It’s not like Michigan had to give itself the death penalty in a case that quickly delves into the arcane sections of the NCAA rule book concerning CARA limits and allowable 7 v. 7 activities. Michigan needed 79 pages to explain itself; Coach Rich Rodriguez another 89 after that.

The NCAA will determine if the penalties are sufficient in August.

I am excited about my alma mater vs. my favorite team matchup. I have watched them play basketball a couple of times, and they have played baseball quite a few times (Austin Peay even beat Vandy this year). But football is whole seperate matter.
Now I would be shocked to see Austin Peay even being competitive in this game, but it should be a great experience for the program. I will definitely be at that game.

For the Michigan thing, I think it was taken care of now and its in the past.I just cant wait for the off season to stop and to see denard robinson take the field as our new starting QB this year. Denard came in last summer, and with much much much much less time than Tate Forcier to practice has already become better. He looked aweful last season, but something made him go from being half the QB tate was, to being way better overall than tate. And it only happened in the last 6 months here.
He was the much more talented QB in terms of physical attributes compared to tate last summer - Almost identical to Michael Vick (6-1, 200...4.2-4.3 speed, Crazy stong arm, not accurate, always looked to run), but somehow he has emerged 6 months later, as a QB that stands tall in the pocket, has gone from side armed to a more pro throwing style, and has become very accurate...not to mention he actually seems to have gotten faster. IDk but I think Michigan has a new QB as the starter now. Tate looks as if he hasnt improved much, nor has gotten any weight on him, where Denard put on a good 15 or so pounds.
Heres a video of what I am talking about, it isnt a highlight video either...its every snap he took in the spring game;

If it can be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that the allegations are true, USC should forfeit any games played from the time the money changed hands on. Reggie should lose his Heisman, and the program should receive every bit as much punishment as 'Bama endured. What I'm 99.9999% sure will happen is they'll receive a slap on the wrist. But wouldn't you love to see Kiffin go down with a sinking ship after calling it his "dream job"?

Nebraska and Mizzou going to the Big 10, Texas being pursued by the Pac 10.
Titansfan777
06-09-2010, 02:51 AM
Big 12 might be dismantled by weeks end...Nebraska and Mizzou are most likely going to the Big10 as soon as Friday. The Pac10 is trying to lure texas and Oklahoma along with a few other schools into their conference.
If this happens, I expect to see the SEC, Big East, and ACC to somehow turn into a 2 Conference monster, something along the ligns of:
SEC:
East:
-Clemson
-Florida
-Florida State
-Georgia
-Georgia Tech
-Miami
-South Carolina
-Tennessee
West:
-Alabama
-Arkansas
-Auburn
-Kentucky
-LSU
-Mississippi
-Mississippi State
-Vanderbilt
and the Big East as something possibly like:
North:
-Boston College
-Cincinnati
-Louisville
-Rutgers
-Syracuse
-Temple
-UCONN
-West Virginia
South:
-Duke
-Maryland
-North Carolina
-North Carolina State
-South Florida
-Virginia
-Virginia Tech
-Wake Forrest

What will the Big 10 call itself if it gets Nebraska and Mizzou? The Big 12? :lol
ZachLV27

They will most likely become the Big14 or 16. Getting Nebraska and Mizzou to join will force the hand of the rest of the current Big 12 teams as well as Notre Dame. If this goes down Texas A&M will most likely make the move to the SEC and the SEC will most likely take their shopping list to the ACC and raid them.
The most interesting part of this entire thing is the future of Kansas. All these projected moves are being done with football in mind but it will also have a huge effect on basketball and all the other sports. As it looks now Kansas doesn't have a major conference to call home.
Edit: Kansas and Kansas State could both be brought in to help get to the goal of 16 teams in the Big 10.
Titansfan777
06-09-2010, 04:12 PM
I could see the mountain west becoming a refuge for many big 12 teams...and becoming a BCS conference in itself if this happens. At the end of the day, I see there being only 4 Big conferences:
-New Pac10 (Utah, Boise State, Fresno State, Brigham Young? IDK)
-Big 10...or 14...or 16 (Mizzou, ND, Nebraska for 14 teams...Pitt and MAYBE Kansas/Iowa State for 16 teams)
-SEC (Current teams + GT, Miami, FSU, and Clemson)
-Big East (ACC northern teams and Big East)
-Big12 remaining + MWC teams Maybe...
-Conference USA(redone)
-MAC (with new teams)
-Sun Belt (new teams)
At the end of the day, in 5 years I think 8-10 conferences will be left...
Do a 32 team playoff through the month of December, maybe with a bye before it starts between the Conf championship games and the start of the playoff, with maybe another bye before the National Champ game...it would make the season end at the same time it does now.
Titansfan777
06-09-2010, 04:50 PM
Heres how I see the Big10 looking:
Big 10 (14)
East:
-Indiana
-Michigan
-Michigan State
-Notre Dame (Or Pitt)
-Ohio State
-Penn State
-Purdue
West:
-Illinois
-Iowa
-Minnesota
-Missouri
-Nebraska
-Northwestern
-Wisconsin
IDK about Kansas...one one hand I really like them as a possible team, but lets face it, the school (minus 2 years ago) sucks at football and is pretty much only a basketball school. As great as their team is, it still pales in comparison to any respectable football team out there in terms of revenue. Kansas state, on the other hand, is an average basketball team and football team. Not to mention, both of these schools would be the smallest stadiums in the big 10 by far...average attendance at a Big10 game was 75k 5 years ago, probably inching toward 80k by now. These 2 schools have stadiums that hold 50,000 even. Thats a 30,000 person per game difference!!! Also, Kansas brings very little to the table in terms of population. Population means TV sets on the Big10 network, which is a major source for income in the Big10. Overall, the Big10 is probably just not interested in them, and fiscally, the shouldn't be.
As for teams the Big10 should consider adding IMO(In addition to Mizzou, and Nebraska), I think you go for Notre Dame. They almost joined 10 years ago, and as of now they are losing major leverage. Especially if the conferences start to expand or shake up, these conferences can push ND out of its auto-BCS bid. The team will then have to choose a conference, and why not choose the conference that pays the most in all of college sports - the Big10. I fully expect them to join the conference in the next two years or so. As for why the big 10 should get them? They are a national brand, like a USC, Michigan, or Texas. They would be great for the Big10 in adding revenue into the pot. By joining, they (ND) would actually make MORE money (I dont have the stats on me but I saw it broken down on another board). Not to mention Notre Dame can keep most of its Rivalries with MSU, Michigan, and other Big10 schools by joining. They can also still schedule USC and Navy too as out of conference games.
Say the scheduling had rules:
-must play all teams in your division (6 games)
-2 teams from other division (2 games)
-3 out of conference games (3 games)
That would leave them with a sched like this:
-Navy (OOC)
-Pitt (OOC)
-@Michigan State (Divisional)
-Wisconsin (Other Division)
-USC (OOC)
BYE
-Purdue(Divisional)
-@Ohio State(Divisional)
-Indiana(Divisional)
-@Michigan(Divisional)
-Nebraska (Other Division)
-@Penn State(Divisional)
BYE (Thanksgiving weekend)
-Conference Championship vs. Team From West Division (Ford Field, Soldier Field, Lambeau Field, Heinz Field, Lucas Oil Field, etc...)
Look at that schedule for Notre Dame...They keep rivalries with Navy and USC, and Michigan, and by moving to the big10, they can keep their once off-and-on rivalries with MSU, PSU, Nebraska, and Purdue. Thats a respectable schedule right there. all of those games would be fun to go to, recruits would love it, and I am sure the school would make more money with tat kind of schedule. They could even keep their NBC deal until it expires, or re-work it or something.
Another possible team if ND wont come would be Pitt, a school with great football, academics, and basketball...

It really depends on Texas. If the SEC or Pac-10 convince them to leave the Big 12, then Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and Baylor all likely go as well. The teams that are left then will try to hook up with some other conference, with the Mountain West (http://www.csindy.com/colorado/mountain-west-in-good-spot/Content?oid=1739477)possibly the big winner.

http://blogs.ajc.com/barnhart-college-football/2010/06/10/the-sec-sure-is-being-quiet-on-expansion/
Some interesting stuff in there. My opinion is the SEC needs to move quickly or get left out in the cold. Even as an SEC fan I can't see the SEC competing long-term with so-called "super conferences" of 16 teams. These new conferences can demand big money on TV contracts. I also believe national recruiting would take a hit. Recruiting is about prestige and things could turn very quickly for the SEC if they take too much of a "wait and see" attitude. Voters in the polls tend to give the benefit of the doubt to their own conferences and regional powers. It's not supposed to be that way but it is. Even little things like the Heisman would be effected. In a dream world the SEC lands Texas, Oklahoma, Virginia Tech and GA Tech.
I don't see that happening though. Texas seems tied at the hip to the other state schools and the SEC isn't going to accept A&M, Baylor, and Tech. The Sooners have the same problem with OSU attached to their hip. However, OSU may be attractive enough that the SEC would want them.
Virginia Tech seems like a natural to many people but they have the same issue with Virginia. The Cavs stuck their necks out to get Tech into the ACC. State politics would probably prevent that from happening. GA Tech is attractive right now but how much so for the long haul? They're a mess financially. Their stadium is tiny by just about any standards.
After giving it some thought I just don't see the SEC raiding the ACC. They already have the state of Florida locked up. Why do they need Miami or FSU? Both programs have struggled. Florida would probably throw a fit about bringing them into the SEC as they leverage being the state's only SEC school while recruiting in-state. As I said, GA Tech has financial and stadium issues. Va Tech has political issues to overcome. Clemson may be an attractive option but would pose much the same issue as in Florida.
If anything I see the SEC making some kind of offer to Texas and A&M. That may be a workable scenario that would satisfy state politics and still leave room for Oklahoma and OSU. This would expand the league into markets they currently don't have a stake in already. Texas and Oklahoma, especially run their programs like SEC programs already. They have tradition, built-in regional rivalry potential. Their region and their fans have much more in common with SEC fans than PAC-10 west coast institutions. I've already seen some boards where PAC 10 fans are making fun of them. (Let's see how that goes if they do join your conference. I have a feeling USC's dominance is over if some of the better Big 12 teams do jump ship to their conference).

I think Texas should just brave the storm and keep the Big 12 intact.
Nebraska and Colorado are gone, but they could bring in BSU and add another team such as TCU.
I just can't see Texas and the West Coast teams in the same conference.

ACC Fla State, Miami (i guess they should go in the big east but that would ruin my LOL)
Big 12 tex, OU, and i believe colorado shared one with GT although i cant remember if it was CU or Washington?
Point is every team can join a unified conference for all i care, we live in our own world in the SEC and then kick the "#2 team's" ass....although the number 2 team often resides in the SEC as well

From Chris Low's blog...
Tennessee had made quarterback Justin Worley of Rock Hill, S.C., one of its top priorities for the 2011 signing class, and the Vols got their man Friday.
Worley, who's thrown for more than 90 touchdowns his last two seasons at Northwestern High School, said he plans to sign with Tennessee. Earlier, he had narrowed his choices to LSU, Notre Dame and Tennessee. He recently visited Notre Dame and attended Tennessee's camp last month.
The 6-4, 195-pound Worley was rated as the country's No. 22 quarterback prospect by ESPN. He's the sixth commitment for the Vols in their 2011 class.

Tennessee football coach Derek Dooley dismissed Darren Myles and indefinitely suspended Marlon Walls and Greg King following a bar brawl in Knoxville on Friday.
Statement from Dooley.
"It is a privilege, not a right, to be a member of the University of Tennessee football team. The most important responsibility of that privilege is to properly represent this institution and our supporters on and off the field.
I am disappointed and in many ways embarrassed by the poor judgment displayed on many fronts by several members of our football team last night.

It seems the football team has one version of the story and most of the people inside the bar have another version. I just can't see that this guy would willingly and knowingly start a bar fight with a guy like Hughes and a half dozen or so of his closest friends. I have a feeling we'll see alot more dismissals before this is over. If that's the case and the players are guilty then so be it. Expectations are low. This is a lot like the Dez Bryant thing I believe. Shouldn't hurt the actual team or school in any way besides losing the player.
Personally, I feel the same way I did when I found out about Bryant, that the NCAA is horrible in handling these players and agents and the players are like slaves to the school and league. All work, no pay. The guy went to a party by an agent. The question wasn't about the party, but who paid for the ticket, who paid for the food, and who paid for where he was staying. Well he doesn't have any money of his own because he has to spend all his time practicing, working out, and going to school, so he can't make money any other way so who do you think paid for it?
These players are completely abused and should at very least be given some sort of stipend or some sort of way to reward these players who bring in millions of dollars to schools every year and don't see a dime of it. Yeah they get a free education, thats great, but that doesn't even pale in comparison to how much money these guys are bringing into the school. It's just a tragedy if you ask me.

so bama #1 in the coaches poll and UF #3....i dont see why ohio state should be above Florida. Florida could be better than last year (yes its possible that Brantley could make that offense even more dynamic by having a great passer) Ohio State has Terrell Pryor who is Vince Young apparently. Why is Pryor Vince Young? because they are both fast? and both are dual threats? i would hardly consider Pryor much of a "dual threat" and think he is the most overrated QB in the country. Jordan Jefferson could probably be "Vince Young" at Ohio State. Beat a team with 2 Heisman winners (one of the best teams ever) like Vince did at Texas and then maybe you will even be considered an All-American.....Ryan Mallett>>>>>>>>>>>>Terrell Pryor

Vandy is not impressing me at all. They twice have had the ball between the 30 and 40 of Northwestern, and twice they punted on 4th and short. Northwestern leads 10-0.
The defense is looking better, but the offense is all running. The passing game is almost invisible,
Update: I am feeling a little better. The defense caused a turnover, and the offense had a big pass play that led to a TD. But they missed the extra point, which is inexcusable (but common with Vandy). 10-6 Northwestern late in first half.
Vandy gets a late field goal on a nice little drive at the end of the half. Halftime score: 10-9 NW

So far, this is a very typical Vandy game. Great defense till the 4th quarter, good running game, highly inconsistent passing game, missed kicks, and turnovers and stupid penalities at the worst times.
Northwestern is giving Vandy a slim chance by bobbling the extra point snap. An extra point would have given them and almost insurmountable 9 point lead, but it is only an 8 point game with about 5 minutes left to play. Let's see if Vandy can force OT or not.
Vandy scores with 2:22 left, but they fumble the snap on the 2 point conversion. :banghead
Onside kick is their only chance now....yet they kick it deep. :huh
NW fumbles on 2nd down...but recovers....3rd and 6 after Vandy uses their last timeout.
Game ends on a brilliant defensive play by Vandy. They prevented the first down, but the refs call a "high hit". 15 yard penalty...game over.
23-21 Northwestern. Vandy fails on all three extra point attempts, while NW only failed one. That is the difference in another brutal, heartbreaking loss.

Irish had a tough loss today. When their starting QB got injured on the first TD things fell apart for the rest of the half. The backup QB immediately tossed one right to Michigan and then they brought in Joe Montana's boy who didn't look very good and tossed an interception as well. When Crist came back out in the 2nd half the Irish offense picked it up again and outscored them 17-0. The defense then let Michigan march down for the game winning score with 30 seconds left. Good game to watch though.

I have to say that was probably one of the most amazing college football experiences I've ever been to. Every time Penn St. would take field all of our fans would cheer for them and when Joe Pa left the field at the end of the half and game he got a standing ovation from the crowd. It was amazing to see the amount of respect everyone showed to a coach who has done it all and this will probably be one of his last few years coaching.
And seeing Bowde, Paterno, and Saban at mid-field before the game was unreal. Those three coaches combined have almost 1000 wins and 6 national titles. Just a fantastic night.

It really was a good game, with TSU leading most of the game. Peay kept kicking field goals instead of getting TDs, but they finally got their 2nd TD of the game with 40 seconds left to win 26-23.

Michigan survived Umass in a letdown game...denard threw his first int. of the season but still managed to have a great game as a passer, and added another 100+ yards rushing giving him over 1200 yards of offense through the first 3 games (671 passing, 559 rushing, 8 TD's). But wow this offense is amazing, but its the D thats scaring me. The D is all freshman and one walkon sophomore in the secondary and the LB's are a FB, an LB who has regressed all 4 years, and a safety, and the D line is an LB, and two DT's...and they are getting shat on every week so far. If they even had a semi-respectful D, I would be confident in them winning against OSU even.

I am happy that UT pulled off the unbelievable upset, but how in the world does Miles's teams keep screwing up at the ends of games? I've checked the replay. LSU had 11 on the field. Tennessee had 13 that were visible. There may have actually been another player on the field as there was an LSU receiver at the bottom left of the screen but the replay cuts the field at an angle so you can't tell if anyone was covering him or not. If not then they get an easy TD on the play if they get the snap off. Either way this one is on the Vols coaching staff. Thus far Dooley reminds me of someone who wasn't successful at the lower levels of college football and given the keys to a broken down Cadillac in the SEC... oh wait. Seriously though, I'll be surprised after today if his team doesn't quit on him the rest of the year. He and the coaching staff took that victory from them after they earned it on the field. He's going to have to look every one of those young men in the eyes and say, "This one's on me." Maybe they respect that, maybe they don't. When you barely beat UAB at home and then lose one like this with the schedule UT has ahead, it would be easy to lose control of the team.

Things keep getting worse and worse for Cam Newton's Heisman trophy hopes.
The cheating stuff just makes him look pathetic, especially the fact that he flat out stole another students paper, but that wont and shouldn't have an effect on his chances. The latest report that he and his father had phone conversations saying that money would play a role in his decision of which school to attend probably will though. The Heisman voters have to be scared of having another Reggie Bush situation and with the FBI now involved in the investigation there's a much better chance that something will be found out. If there is anything to be found out that is.

The question is whether the Sugar Bowl is required to get the SEC champion if that team isn't playing in the BCS championship. If so, they SC would go to the Sugar Bowl, and LSU likely gets an at-large bid over Auburn (which is totally messed up since Auburn beat LSU).

With so many bowls, you have to invite 6-6 teams (plus the SEC has like 11 tie-ins). UT does deserve it, after outplaying a top 5 team (LSU) and playing Oregon very tough for a half.
Auburn should not be in the BCS championship if they lose. They likely don't even make a BCS bowl due to the two team limit.
I do wish the BCS would immediately make a rule saying that only conference champions are eligible for the BCS championship game.

http://sports.espn.go.com/dallas/ncf/news/story?id=5862368
DALLAS -- TCU has accepted a bid to the Big East Conference, which will take effect July 1, 2012, according to sources familiar with the deal. The school has set a news conference for 1 p.m. CT on campus to make "a major announcement involving the TCU athletics program."
A source confirmed the move to ESPN.com's Joe Schad Monday as well.
Big East commissioner John Marinatto and associate commissioner in charge of communications John Paquette flew to Dallas on Sunday in advance of the announcement, according to a New York Daily News story earlier Monday.
The school's release said athletic director Chris Del Conte would be present at the news conference along with school chancellor Victor Boschini.
The conference change allows TCU to play in an automatic BCS-qualifying league beginning in the 2012-13 school year. TCU currently plays in the Mountain West Conference, which does not have an automatic bid to the BCS and is going through some changes of its own. BYU and Utah are leaving the conference just as Boise State enters.

Kiffin, of course, continues to be criticized mercilessly by Tennessee fans for bolting to USC after one season.
So who clinched Notre Dame's victory over the Trojans?
Fighting Irish safety Harrison Smith, who played high school football in ... Knoxville, Tenn.
Smith might have been the goat after slipping and letting USC receiver Ronald Johnson get behind him for what would have been a certain touchdown. But Johnson dropped the pass.
A few plays later, Smith's interception clinched the victory.
Kiffin, noting Smith's Tennessee connection, said: "I now officially believe in karma."

It's pathetic that Boise St. is playing in some turd bowl while UConn is playing in a BcS game. This isn't a stab at UConn but the whole college football system.
Auburn's Cam Newton has accounted for 318 yards and four touchdowns in first half of #SEC Championship Game. #SEC
the guy is just amazing
Dont you think referring to it as the National Championship Game would be more appropriate? Kinda works out that way, doesnt it?

Vandy needs to go against the grain and hire Gary Rankin.

Does it really matter who Vandy hires?
They'll never seriously compete in the SEC.

Vandy was pretty competitive a couple of years ago.

UConn a 17 point underdog against Oklahoma. Ouch. I knew it would be bad, I just didn't realize how bad until I saw it in print.

Stanford is reaching out to Chris Petersen for their HC job.
With losing our OC this year and DC last year (though that didn't effect our defense at all) I might need to go crawl into a corner and cry. Losing Petersen and our OC in the same offseason would really hurt the program.

Petersen has told Stanford that he will be staying with Boise.
Our WR coach who had just agreed to go become the OC at Indiana is coming back (can you really come back if you were only "gone" for like a week?) to be our OC.
Some think that Michigan and LSU (if Miles goes to Michigan) might come calling, but I'm not too worried about him going there. If Petersen was going to go anywhere this year it was going to be Stanford. He is actually a real quiet type of guy who doesn't want to be in the bright lights.
One of these days I'd actually like to see Petersen go to a big school just to show how good of a coach he is. People complain about Boise's schedule but don't seem to realize that he is inning all these games with 2 and 3 star recruits. He does a great coaching job getting those 2 and 3 star recruits to look much better than they actually are. Seeing him coaching a bunch of 4 and 5 star recruits would be a lot of fun.

Michael Floyd is the latest (of what is turning into a long list) of guys who are returning to college next year when most thought they would enter into the NFL draft. Thanks to the lack of a CBA right now next years draft is looking like it might be one of the better drafts in a long time.

Wow Justin Blackmon is staying in college too. He was almost assured to be a first round pick.
