endzones before but now its intensified...
check out what alabama has done with our endzones...This is PRECISELY want i want the titans endzones to look like except blue...but just a simple Tennessee in one endzone and Titans in the other with a solid background color...like bama..i mean really these new endzones are spectacular and just make the whole place look better. The same could be done for LP....FYI that south endzone is in the process of being built all the way up and soon Bryant Denny stadium will hold over 100K and be the prettiest stadium in college football

I've forgotten what the current ones look like.
Those are alright. I also like the suggestion that we copy our endzone from the Super Bowl.
Rolltide14TOMB
04-17-2009, 10:42 PM
The super bowl ones are exactly like the new alabama ones except titans...the current titans endzones take up about 1/10 of the endzone and just say titans..it is pathetic..the worst in the league i think...they should AT least go back to our 99 endzones they werent bad but we need an upgrade here badly

Do you really think the end zones at LP Field are worse than these?

Personally, I don't care what the end zone looks like as long as the Titans can find it. :thumbsup

they are about even with those steelers ones. Yes i will admit GB has the worst endzones in the league. I went to the NFC Championship game against NYG a few years ago and there endzones are defintely hideous.

I don't care what the end zone looks like as long as it is CJ playing the bongos.
Is there really anything wrong with our endzones? I could care less about the endzone. Worry about the field! Rob Bironas needs a decent surface to kick field goals from come December.

i mean both of them should be prestine....its professional football. There is nothing worse than turning a game on and seeing they have a crappy looking field...I mean Tiger Stadium in Death Valley has the best looking field in all football and its because of their logos and endzone art...i mean it makes the place....

i dont notice it bad when im at the game, its when i watch the highlights on sportscenter...its like WTF that is almost embarrasing..looks like we just slap something on there last second
I am just thankful the endzones havent become a huge advertising billboard.
I know its coming.

I forgot to mention that an intregal part of the field is also the product that is on it..This eliminates Tennessee. Their field was beautiful while bama was on probation and florida was transitioning from Spurrier to zook to meyer...but now that the powers are back....Kiffin better keep running his mouth so they can stay in the news.
granted i like the checkerboard design but it would be atrocious for the titans

im not an expert on wagon jumping, but i would strongly recommend NOT jumping on UT's if winning is what you like....or if you do i would hedge against that by saving a wheel or 2 for bama or florida...

Saint Nick has one decent season at Bama and now they're a Power.
Give it a few years before you coronate the Tide as the new SEC Powerhouse.
Sad thing is, Nick will probably be in Michigan by then. :lol

As much as I hate it. History tells us Alabama is the power. According to this website (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_SEC_Conference_Champions) is UT is number 2 in the SEC next to Alabama. Alabama has 21 SEC titles while Tennessee has 13. The good news is Florida only has 8 and UT is on the upswing now that ole chunky is gone.

Yeah, but Empires rise and fall.
The Gators are the Powerhouse in the SEC right now.
Nobody can take away what the Crimson Tide have achieved in the past, but Saban isn't Bryant, and neither Broadway or the Snake are on the field for them.
Tebow and company will probably win another title.
As for the Tide and Saban; I just don't see a longterm marriage there.
I'm not saying UT has one with Kiffin either.
We'll see what transpires, but, Bama needs to be able to beat Utah before they start running smack. :p

A home and home would be cool like we did with Ohio State. If the NCAA ever went to a playoff system we would see a lot more cool early season matchups.

I look at college basketball and think about what could be. All those inter-conference series at the start of the year make for some great action. I would love to see Texas get a home and home with the likes of LSU, or even a legit non-BCS school like TCU. It's so hard to get a series like that in college football because rarely do two elite programs ever want to agree to something that could be so potentially threatening to their title hopes. That's why I like the current USC-tOSU series.
I'm sure as hell tired of watching the Horns mudhole the Rices and La-Lafeyettes of college football for their OOC games.

I would just like to point out that the crew on the other side of town has natural grass looking this good at a private university year round, even during football season.
Don't give me the excuse about less number of games. They work hard on this field and it whips the Titans every time.

But they'll roll back around again. It's a cycle. Back in the 70's everyone wanted Astro Turf and artificial surfaces for speed. Players started getting hurt and slowly but surely teams went back to grass. Now grass is passe once more. It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye. Then it's all fun. Then it's all games! Hey! Look! An eye!
