on our dismal defense and their "improvement" and mentality?? VY does not hold the keys to a playoff run this year: a dominate defense does as always with fisher's teams.

so why do we just read about VY, CJ, and the receivers and their improvements in the offseason? i know what they can do for the most part, i want to know about the enigma of the team.........The Defense :cool: Flame away

Hopefully our D will be better. It's always been it's best when our front 4 was the focal point. However This year I'm afraid our front 4 may be the most suspect. I hope they prove me wrong.

That being said I'm sure Morgans youth and freshess with be an upgrade over KVB whom I'm still a fan and Brown is always consistant but we need someone to step up in the other positions.

its no secret to us but most of the time the tennessean writes an article about the titans its about vince young or chris johnson, and sometimes the rookies

CJ is only talked about because he is holding out. Vince always needs improvement, and QBs get a lot of press. ;) We just had a draft, so the rookies are big news.

Until training camp starts, there just isn't a lot to talk about on the defensive side.

no they could write on everything they are going to focus on and what they are going to try to improve. Blitz more? Be more conservative? use more players than normal? Condition harder? Who is a surprise, who is a disappointment? something i dont know all ready......when i see an article entitled "Vince Young works to improve passing skills" i wander if it is a copy and paste from like 10 other articles over the years...

thanks for posting the links, Hayes is one of those guys who seems like he has alot of potential. I felt he was better in run support than pass rushing last year, hopefully adding on the weight will improve his game both ways.

I like Hayes too. It seemed to me that he was inconsistent at both. Some games he was good at one and other games better at the other. i've always thought he could be really good.
