2010 Titans Tailgate FFL

Well its mid July and gettin ever so close to that wonderful time of the year. While I know it's still a little early, I just want to see who would be interested in joining a FFL league for forum dwellers and friends. I was thinkin about using the NFL sight because it's supposed to be improved from recent years and never was all that bad.

Just post on here if you're interested and I might go ahead and create a league so people can start joining up at will. Then maybe in a few weeks we can get this thing goin and figure out a draft time.

How would everyone feel about a small bonus system? If a QB goes over 400 yards, a RB goes over 200, or a WR gets over 200 yards then you would get a bonus of like 2 or 3 points. Its not a lot but it'd kinda be cool to get that little bit extra for a guy who overachieves for a day.

Also, should passing TD's be 4 or 6 points? If it's 6 points then elite QB's become a premium and having a Peyton, Brees or Rogers is pretty important. At 4, their numbers are dampened a bit. I mean if a guy throws 4 TD's it's a difference of 8 points so that can really make a difference.

What do you guys think?

Hey Johnny, I've been trying to join your league and can't seem to get trough.

I created my account, tried finding your league through the many diffrent leagues signing up. Even just looked for the August 28th ones and couldn't find yours anywhere.

So signed out and went back above to your link, every time I sign in it gives me the following error message...

There was an error.

You do not have permission to view this page.


Anyone else have issues or is it just me?

Oh ok I've figured what to do. When you go to the fantasy page go down and click on the link that says "Received an Invite?" and it will take you to a link where you can put the league ID and password in.

Pretty misleading if you ask me.

Crap,I finally got through. You might want to change your link. Today when I tried it , I was taken right through to the leagues website and it by passed the main page. So if you link the main page and tell everyone where to look down for the link ""Received an Invite", it'll make it alot more simple.

So I'm #2, need 10 more owners.

I've already sellected my logo, I knew everyone would want the Titans and I'm not about to sport another NFL team's logo, so I went with one of their off brand logos.

Just a note, this league is open to anyone so even if you're already in another league you can still join this one. It's just one for the people on here and even some friends. And the draft date is subject to change if enough people can't make it on that date, its just a random day i picked.

I can but my problem with that is the draft is tomorrow and I'm not sure if that doesn't hurt other people. There just isn't enough time to make sure everyone is ok with the change, so my suggestion is just to edit your pre draft rankings as best you can.

I'm really sorry cus I know how much people enjoy the live draft but I'd hate to screw over several people in the process of helping one.

I mean if everyone says moving it back 3 hours is fine, I can do it. But otherwise I'd just really rather not change it.

Well apparently we need one more!!! Only 2 hours till draft time so someone hurry up and grab it!

I moved the draft back an hour so that hopefully we can get one more person. I don't want to change it to much because I know some people work the food service work on saturday nights.

at least I could stick out the draft till the last couple picks. I lost connection and it auto drafted me some players I didn't want. I have some lower tier rb's for a equal value wr if anyone wats another rb. I have like 5
