how many of those picks were in rounds 1 and 2?

Dyson was the only first round pick. I think Calico and Kent were the only 2nd round picks.

Sad to say but we all know the Titans have no clue what WR's are. Just as we see QB's don't show up for the Bears.

well first its kinda hard to find a good wr if we dont draft or at least try out hand in round 1 more often

secondly i think part of our problem may be our wr talent scouts

Some to think that because a round 1 reciever is not a guarantee to be a success, you might as well draft them in the later rounds.

The problem is, not all risks are created equal. A round 1 college stud is like a startup business - it might flourish, it might not.

Round 5, 6, and 7 recievers are a scratch-off lotto ticket. Every now and then, someone hits big. But mostly, you're throwing your money away.

We need to spend resources on WR's, either a trade or a high draft pick. It's still our glaring need on offense, and I would really like to see the F.O. address it.

I still hate to see Brandon Jones gone. I think that Fisher and the Dinger misused him.

Oh well...I hope they don't sign a decadent type of "McCarreins" WR again.

We drafted Joel Filani, a standout WR from Texas Tech in the 6th round of the 2007 draft, never gave him a chance in training camp and, I believe, cut him before the start of the season. That's a great example of WR's: Titans drop the ball.:rant

At least we cut him before he wasted a roster spot. He is on his 5th team now, and he still has never played in a game.
