The next year people were thinking he was possibly going to be a 1st or 2nd round pick after the season. Turns out he was battling depression as his mother and mentor had both died that offseason. He decided to play through it but wasnt the same. He injured himself in the third game and then was granted medical redshirt. This year he came back and established himself as the best receiver in the conference. He was first team and almost led the beavs to the rose bowl. Me being a beaver fan i am really hoping to see his name after what hes been through he really deserves it.

I was always pretty damn good at catching passes, but that doesn't mean I should be drafted.

Does anyone know if current players are allowed to workout with the rookies at the rookie mini camp next weekend? I'm guessing the players union might have an issue with it because of the amount of days players are supposed to workout in the offseason. If they are allowed to attend I would think Vince Young would be smart to attend and be the QB throwing passes to the rookies. They'll need a QB there to throw passes and I think it would be a good way to help his reputation with the team.

I'm not sure the coaches will want him there though. They'll probably want someone who can actually complete the passes to these guys...

I would think it's voluntary and I'm not sure it would be encouraged due to the risk of injury. Plus, I think most players would avoid it as it's uncompensated too. IDK if it's against the rules but I think it would be if it's mandatory.

For his sake I hope he goes to the Rams. The Rams will be back. Cincinatti will never be any good.

Both situations bode well for him. In Cincy the only proven guys they have are Ocho Cinco (who could possibly be shipped out), Laveranues Coles (who's old), and Chris Henry (who could be in thrown in jail any given day). In St. Louis, you've got Drew Bennett, Donnie Avery, and Keenan Burton as your main receivers. In both situations he could step in immediately and contribute.

STL also signed his Texas teammate RB Chris Ogbonnaya today, and STL does look to have the better overall team (if they'd just get a decent QB or Bulger pulls his head out of his ass). On the other hand he may like Cincy just because he's got Carson Palmer throwing him passes.

Reportedly he's going to take his time and see who else STL/Cincy sign before he makes his decision.

If you're talking about Hoyer, He'd be behind Kevin O'Connell and Matt Gutierrez. I'm not sure he can beat either one out but I think Bellichick wouldn't foreclose it really.

If we're talking about Reilly, IDK. Didn't they re-sign Charlie Batch, a pretty good backup for them? They have Dennis Dixon too. Probably camp fodder there.

Update on Quan Crosby...


Undrafted free agent WR Quan Cosby will be given "every chance" to beat out Antonio Chatman for the Bengals punt-return job. Chatman offers very little at this stage of his career, so the Bengals have nothing to lose by throwing the rookie out there. Cosby has a legit chance of making the squad this summer.
